  1. didn't know stabilized lenses were crap ? when it's well done they are as good as non stabilized ones and yet you still have the choice to turn it off
  2. i am not comparing i am just saying it lacks stab, that is my opinion of course you don't need it when using tripod, using slider, hmm it depends on the build quality, dolly same story, there are many that shake the camera and why comparing with red or expensive products ? comparing a 1500$ camera with some 15k$ others is a nonsense as the equipment are not the same and the way you work with it and the team around are not the same. for gimballs many prefer to use them with stabilized lenses or body in order to avoid jittering. this camera is the kind you want to use handheld sometimes, expecialy with the great af, having a stabilized lense would be such a great thing
  3. grading is really important to have the film look. globaly to me the main weakness of fuji are the lenses, they are not stabilized, and that is quite a problem for video especialy when you have such a great af system. fuji need to upgrade their lenses if they want to make it big on the video market
  4. i have to agree, it's about time that fuji goes to stabilization great lens but not perfect, like the canon 24-70
  5. i am afraid all adapter / converters won't do a proper job with af. it was said that metabones is working on new speedbooster, hope this is true. i was planning on using adapters as i have a full set of canon lenses but got myself into buying a 16-55 fuji yesterday as i found a terrific deal on local amazon. still wondering if i will use it as there is no stabilization but on tripod it will be great. at least it will be perfect for photography and for video on tripod or on gimball but i'd rather use my tamron 24-70 that has stab when someone comes with a proper speedbooster
  6. a bit silly he doesn't test the eye focus on video mode but this a test
  7. wonder if the af remains brillant with the viltrox and other brands af
  8. still looking for a review or advice for a good canon to fuji adapter
