Looks like Blackmagic Raw isn't to far away! Someone from the Blackmagic forum went to a Blackmagic camera masterclass and noticed the P4K was running firmware with Blackmagic Raw installed.

seems like a fantastic concept but the payload is to low for what I wanna run on it. -
My First P4K very occasionally didn't correctly mount the T5 500GB but my 2nd unit has been perfect, no issues.

Tip 1) Using elastic hair bands to control a tripod pan bar can smooth the movement out. Tip 2) Buy a label maker and start labelling things, I like to number my batteries and SSDs so I can easily remember what batteries have been spent and what SSDs are filled.

Can you post some images off the pocket 4k attached to the G2X? it seems like the best option for the Pocket 4k currently

Meike are soon releasing a set of cine-style lenses. I had a quick play with the 25mm at BSC and it seemed quite well built.

It seems people are having good luck finding them at smaller stores, its the CVP & B&H preorder lists that aren't getting fulfilled
-
Sounds great, please share more info when you can! i've been looking for a while to pick up a gimbal to replace my trusty glidecam for the P4K
-
is it a new manufacture or existing brand?
-
I might be wrong, but I think that the Tilta G2 & G2X can mount the motor on either side to accommodate the P4k
-
Personally I think the P4K and a vintage lens is a winning combo.

I haven't used them, but the Tenba Cinelux backpacks look good! I use a Gillis leather duffle and peli cases.

Ive also got the smallrig full cage but I much prefer the tilta half cage. (I don't really like full cages). I'm still awaiting the ssd holder & Tilta usb-c cable.
-
Ive got the Tilta Cage and Metabones support. Some of the other accessories haven't been shipped yet.

Just a heads up, just got shipping notification for my Tilta Pocket 4k Cage from CineGearPro

Best bet with all issues you have is to just call / email BMD. Going through my 2nd RMA with them and they are very helpful. First was for a bad battery door, this one is for the power port becoming faulty. They troubleshoot with you if you call them up and if they can't find a fix they'll ask you to send in your camera and sort it out.

I haven't noticed any IR or aliasing in any of my footage yet, even when using a VND
-
I had the same response after buying the sigma zooms. sold them for a Tokina 28-70 2.6 & Helios 58mm. Im much happier with the results of those lenses.

The Tilta half cage is currently on offer at CineGearPro in the UK. I have got one ordered with a few of the extras to replace the small rig one.
-
BM customer service was very good when I sent it in to replace the battery door. sent it on Thursday and received it back on Saturday.

When using a cage with the Pocket 4k the port covers can get in the way. Ive found its easier to remove them. They can be pulled out.
