It is. The 6K mode is technically 5K but it's really nice.. it's 4:3 so you can re-frame in post, it's h265 200Mbit which is equivalent to about 400Mbps h264 in terms of IQ and the 200Mbps doesn't require the super-expensive UHSII SD cards so it's cheaper, it has less/no sharpening added and looks really nice IMHO.
AND...
You can choose HLG.
Mine is always "stuck" in this mode.
Getting ready for my niece's chorus at the church tomorrow night...

I'll do a post about it next week.
There is a version of it for the Pocket 4K and one for Panasonic.
Looking forward to this.

I'm glad I didn't buy one now, I'd be really sad...

Recent correspondence from Metabones:
I will believe it when we see it.
I used to bug the crap out of them in my X-E1 days, constantly asking...

I'm guessing this means it supplies power, as it is controlling the aperture?
I have two special focus via wire Canon EF lens, it would still work for these?
Oh, nevermind, the posting is for the Leica C1 cam, not the Panny S1...

Wow, this one got a bit polluted, bummer deal...
-
This adapter, and it's performance, hope it's good, is the only thing keeping from ordering a new Panny S1...

Seems like the only thing holding me back is the lens mount.
I just have an extensive amount of adapted lens, and many Canon lens in EOS mount, some very special rare glass too, sigh...

The QR Code is clearly a joke.
Yeah, was hoping it would be, just late at night, etc, my paranoia reaction kicked in...
I find it odd, searching for an online security check tool for QR Code comes up with nothing.

Thanks for the information.
No, I don't need redundancy, though I do need long capacity, I shoot events that are rather long, one takes.
The Atomos Power Station really spoiled me. It would be perfect if they correct the battery contact pins.
BTW, the Power Junkie NPF and the dummy battery solution seems to work good, and is VERY cheap priced.
Now to find a proper NPF battery charger as the Atomos Video Power Station also provided that function very well, when it was working...
-
Wrong.
I caution others on this.

This sounds dangerous, why would you post this?
No one in their right mind should blindly use any QR code!

What hot swap battery solutions are you running that you would recommend?I started off with an Atomos Video Power Station.
I got this on a B&H sale in 2017 for my GH5.
It has been working great, up until now.
The battery connection prongs are loose, almost broken off electrically, and very unreliable.
This has since become a discontinued product.
Atomos doesn't seem to be answering emails about it either.
I wanted to purchase a new plate, or have mine repaired.
A real shame, as this would be a GREAT product, hot swap batteries and all.Well, since I now have a number of large NPF batteries, I went the cheap route, and ordered a Power Junkie NPF and the dummy battery.
It's only a single battery.I was looking at V-mount solutions, and they are attractive, but very expensive.

I am happily using eos m with ML and a c mount lens ( originally for super 8 ), with RAW rercording in 4:3 ratio, 18fps, the live view works great with the correct ratio, frame rate. So it should work fine with 3x crop.
Only the 4k/2.5k seems to have unusable liveview for me.Does the EOS-M have HDMI out to view?

All this AI stuffz need to hurry up and provide stitched video files, as well as nail content fill/remove, etc...

If Fuji moves away from X-trans then I will move away from Fuji. The X-trans raw files is the main reason why I use them so much.
Wow, same here, the reason I started with an X-E1 a long time ago, still have it somewhere...

The 135s I still have:
- Vivitar 135/2.8 close focusing, I remember I liked the colors from this one.
- An old Spiratone 135/1.8, I remember this one has extreme thin depth of field, the bokeh is nice and smooth.
I will have dig these out again...I did have an old Minolta Rokkor 135mm, I seemed to have enjoyed that lens, for a while, sadly, so did someone else, as it was stolen *8^(

How do the G85 and GX85 differ? I need to google, as I want a decent camera for my niece to learn and use.

I like the 2x aspect.
Here's hoping for an UW model, at least...

My humble rig many years ago on the beach, STILL works great!
GH5, Metabones 0.64XL Speedbooster, Minolta Rokkor 58/1.2, Rapido V2 clamp, B&H for Kowa 2X, Rapido front clamp, SLR Magic variable ND.

It's a HDMI limitation. You can't output a 5K signal over GH5 HDMI.
This is bad, as I stay in "6K" HLG mode MOST of the time.
Panasonic should really fix this, by offering a 4k, or smaller signal out to HDMI at the same time.

Kisaha, I have used a wide range of lenses with the P4K and have been happy with them. Perhaps this will help you.
Here are a few:
NOTE: My Metabones doesn't AF with any of my lenses (that I recall). I also don't get vignetting with the 0.71 adapter (that I recall).
- Metabones 0.71 + Sigma 18-35 EF
- Metabones 0.71 + Tokina 11-16 EF
- Metabones 0.71 + Canon 24-105 EF
- Metabones 0.71 + Canon 100-400 EF
- Metabones 0.71 + Sigma 20mm f/1.8
- Panasonic 12-35 f/2.8
- Panasonic 35-100 f/2.8
- Olympus 12-100 f/4
- Sigma 16 f/1.4
- Sigma 30 f/1.4
- Panasonic 42.5 f/1.2
- Rokinon Cinema DS 85mm T1.5

Why is this? Does it not work with the BMP4K?
