  1. Hello, I read that you could power the nucleus n from a ronin S, supplying it with more power so it has more grip(torque). Does anybody know what cable I need for that? Thanks!
  2. Hello guys, Small question is there a way to keep the ronin S at horizon level at all times? Even when holding the trigger and making turns the horizon drifts off slightly to the left or right. Balance test is excellent in all directions btw. So im guessing it should be some kind of setting, as when one is moving a single hand gymbal around surely it is normal to move it an awkward position making it drift. But surely there is an option to keep it horizon level? If so, how do I do it? Thanks!
  3. Not sure, lets wait and see. But I am guessing IQ will be better for photo and video. Also the native EF mount is pretty good for me as I have a shitload of EF glass and dont want to invest in a new mount (sony, panasonic, nikon..)
  4. Allthoug there are some horrible shots in there. Like 0:36, the colors look pretty horrible to me (also prolly due to production who provided a horrible backback). But still not completely sold on the Z6, gonna wait till the end of the year and see what pops up.
  5. Yeah agreed, im not impressed by any of the camera's released these last of couple of years. Sure the functionality is a lot better, better options, easier to work with and even the color depth is better. But still the images seem to drift further and further away from 35mm film, which I personally love.
  6. I like the softness, but I find the colors a bit too mute. Contrast is sitting well, but I feel the colors should pop more, more saturated on the RED/BLUE shots.
  7. Thats great and all, but what cine lenses are we gonna use that have AF. Im not beeing sarcastic, but I think there is a need of AF lenses that have a great look (Cooke, Zeiss supreme, angenieux, Arri masterprimes, leica summicrons/summiluxes, any anormophic). We should maybe give the zeiss otus/milvus lenses a go. While if you are doing event work, you would not go for a zcam anyway.
  8. Im still bummed they keep increasing the price of the F6 in europe. Otherwise I might have pulled the trigger, but for now I can wait it out and wait on some reviews and on when they get available used.
  9. lol, wth wants that holographic display anyway.
  10. Is it only for dslr's or also for ursa mini pro's, FS7's, canon C300's (automatically presuming Alexa's are out the question)?
  11. If they would do it, its gonna be a stylish camera with only a few controls/options that is way overpriced.
  12. Yeah as I will prolly also use it it handheld from time to time (depending the situation, like travelling, or really long shooting days, etc)
  13. Yeah im prolly going for the Z6, seems to be the best option for me atm as it takes good pictures as well. Allthough this guy makes me consider the eos R. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAtyZolp1ao but then again it does not have IBIS so gotta drop the eos R.
  14. Yeah sorry should have mentioned that before. - Aperture reasons for both really - AF mostly only for gymbal shots - I only shoot event recaps so 1-3min. So I usually shoot 10 sec clips. I will rely on AF on any important shots, nor will I do risky moves on shots that I cannot miss, then it is handheld/tripod. - I only need one zoom lens 24-70mm and im golden. - 4K is nice, but honestly 1080p is already sufficient. - 60FPS 1080p is a minimum though.
  15. yeah I still am talking about 30 sec clips max, so I dont care about long recording options.
  16. What about the nikon z6? Anybody got experience with this one. Imagewise its ahead of the other mentioned cameras.
  17. FS7 is not quite lightweight, I need to run 8 hours straight with a ronin s on it.
  18. I rather have a 24-70mm at 2.8. F4 is too slow for my usual taste.
  19. thx Well on mft, I will not use any lens slower then 2.8 though. The gh5 is quite old as well, have slight preference for FF. But indeed you cannot go wrong with a gh5.
  20. Hello, Ok what is your favorite event shooting setup. Looking for something light weight with ibis and Af, high iso performance, and I want just one zoom lens thats also light weight. (I already own a ronin s). If its a good hybrid thats a plus also(If i can adapt Ef lenses on it). So prolly contenders are(but do add If i forgot something): A7 iii, nikon z7, canon r, gh5. Not sure about lenses. Thanks
  21. Im not sure people are waiting on 6K though, most customers just demand 1080p. I want better colors and more DR which result in a nicer image.
