    Hi Cal,

Yes sir, it really really really is single focus, its the real thing. You can pull focus, follow focus and get in really close. Furthermore you can use a zoom as well as your favourite prime glass.

Its not only that of course - its CinemaScope just like the movies and it is a professional tool with minimum focus of 0.65m (thats 2ft imperial), no dioptres required, focus throw of 195 degrees, comes with a Steam Punk support rig for 15mm rails and works with prime lenses and zooms in the range 50mm to 200mm and it weighs just 500g (just over 1lb imperial). The mumps are almost undetectable.

It is not just a conversion - it is a completely custom developed optical prescription using vintage scopes. The vintage look digitally remastered through a process I call Revisioneering.

    It is laid out here

Had this one brewing for a while.   Shot in anamorphic to accentuate just how irritating vertical video is.  Not for the easily offended.  Bring your sense of humor.  Shot on A7s in Slog2, Nikon 50mm & Bolex/Moller 1.5

Hi. These are two very simple tests I did just after purchasing the GH4. The second one focus on matching the GH4 with the Canon C300/C100. I have to say it comes pretty close for daylight shooting ! More infos on the vimeo page.

    Hey guys,

Wanted to share a new GH4 test I shot with the SLR Magic Anamorphot + Sigma 30mm. The grade was extremely minimal and the colors you see are mostly coming from my custom CineV settings.
    Hope you guys like it.

Yes, the price was less than 10e (postage included). Mine comes at 52mm (probably will do for Sun Anamorphic and Schneider Cinelux, will post some results, when done).

I also enjoyed the tiny Hypergonar but it has it's quirks: At first you need DIY mounting and filterthread solution (there is non)
And you definitely need diopters for sharp image. Maybe you can ask the Van Diemen "rehouser" for a special edition ;)
    It is also rather expensive...
In my eyes the small Moeller has the advantage: Very appealing super sharp image, no diopters. Mounting is easy with Redstans clamp.
The dual focus on the Moeller is also a piece of cake. You can even manage focuspulling with some practice.
For me that small Moeller is better than my Iscoramas :)

Baby Isco, but the quality is no where near up to scratch compared to its bigger siblings. If you can live without dual focus (I certainly can) then the best quality small adapter is the Bolex Moller 8/19/1.5x, simply incredible images.

No, I did not. I don't think that is possible any modification like "removing"/"cutting" the back. How can you do that?

Having it sitting for a long time, I said to finally give it a try, as until now it was impossible to get any info about it, or even so to find a video made with this rare beast.
Quick test of the Moller Anamorphot 30/2x, on an Oly E-M1.
I have to admit that wasn't that easy to work with it, it's big like an Iscorama, not easy to use just an anamorphic clamp and I always prefer smaller anamorphics to play with, so I don't have the proper rig solution for this Moller. But the image quality that comes out of it, puts it (at least) beside Iscorama.
Any comment is welcome, this lens is a miracle:

yannis.zach reacted to Russell Anway in An ad shot on lomo anamorphics
    Hello,

There are far too many tests shot with our anamorphics and far too little work!  And in that spirit I shot a couple narrative bits with my Lomos in the last couple weeks.

I shot this with my 35mm and 80mm  Mostly with the 35mm.  The 35mm is an OCT 18 so I also mounted it with a 24mm and a 50mm at times.  Opening shot is 24mm, shots on suspension bridge are 50mm.  Shot on a gh1 (frowny face) and had an arri 650.  I also wrote it and directed it.  First time I've done an ad like this or shot something significant with these lenses.  I used Schneider 4x4 ND's, a tiffen polarizer, and a tiffen +1.5 diopter (closeups to throw that background out of focus).

It's an ad for a new app coming out Saturday.  It uses iPhone gps data, and other ambient factors like time/temp to access original artistic content.  So it's a bit like a gallery/scavenger hunt on your phone.  Only available in Minneapolis to at launch.

I also recently shot a short I will hopefully post here when I make sure it won't cause any problems with upcoming festival commitments.

Thanks and let me know what you think!

In my video I used the SLR Magic Anamorphot with the Panasonic 12-35mm X lens.  I used all autofocus, and I set the Anamorphot to either Near or Normal, never in between.  No diopters at all.  I just couldn't risk dropping it into the water and losing it especially when it was getting so dark and there were so many people.  All closeups were in the Near position.  That is the key to using the Anamorphot especially for run and gun situations.  I could never shoot this video with the Iscorama or any 2x projector behemoth lenses.

With eBay being hacked, this seems like a scam to me.
