Lovely imagerie indeed, one of the best from such a mobile device *thumbs up* ...but there's some other option on Android side nowadays and with 4K60p where gcam can be used anyway: Last but not least, when smartphones are the topic, well, let's listen what teens have to say...? LOL : -)
  2. No, I didn't see it on HDR. But it is already very good anyway : ) Here's another one also pretty worthy:
  3. Not only @Tito Ferradans but also yours @heart0less ... ; -)

This guy knows his job... It requires an operator for well shot pictures as much as any other camera, after all ; -)
  5. Old but still always new : ) Here's my 1st contribution: Shot entirely on Lensbaby Lenses and Canon 5D Mark II SLR Camera

  7. @mercer Reminds me those drone shots... People expect high quality from bad camera usage going along speedy movements, here's an example in the 1st video there: Before demanding from the device, what about the way and how fast the operator moves it?
  8. LOL Well, Storaro says you can't go beyond until the projection system will be updated ; ) A shaky shot can be unusable no matter how many shades your pallet of colour has, so start to think on a tripod or buy a gimbal :- D
  9. I don't become so enthusiastic myself with new fancy stuff, except with game changers. As Storaro said in one of those videos, 16-bit is as much as 12-bit today, I'd add. Below, I don't mind to even shoot with 8-bit but would never cut a zero from the right row side if I can keep it there ; ) Go figure for narrative work... where grading shades are part of your craft to multiply layers in order to tell deeper/better your stories : -)
  10. .braw all the way : ) I see a camera system like to choose a wife for serious, keeping the appearances apart : D Why a new one if you've already found the one you're looking for?
  11. Don't forget a light gimbal you can use much further along any other camera system to come ; ) I am all in for modularity. 4 grand in that body doesn't make justice to the alternative offer.
  12. Glenn, you can easily keep their small form factor to power them, very handy BTW. That dreaded Netflix approval is absolutely BS from pure nonsense expense at best. And you have this much more interesting route option rather than automated menus:
  13. The more I shoot with the more I fall in love. It is natural Tom mentioned P4K as camera of the year still in 2019... ; ) On the screen to be unusuable in daylight, there are easy/quick workarounds to overcome that... : -)
  14. Indeed. Their underestimated focus peaking is much more useful than many other features to speak openly. But believe me, battery is far to be an issue : ) Only in theory. In practice, you'll easily overcome it much easier than I'm writing this : D
  15. I find the later Blackmagic models much improved and mature product. My beef with Japanese way of reinventing shooting menus is the fact their designers have no absolute clue about the finest pleasure of photography. They make digital filmmaking sucks to be the norm. Too focused in electronics and automatic modes. Truly a pain. Just my personal impression though : -) Blackmagic has reinvented digital film with their superior color science to the affordable side from my own experience. I'd firmly rather recommend their cameras to anyone.
  16. It's true, the best camera is the one we have with. I just have the little GX85 always with me and has become the pocket one literally LOL Because I invariably end to pick up the Blackmagic... It is like that woman you can't resist her, you don't mind to do many questions why : -D S1H has many advantages, I also feel tempted to add it to my arsenal. I guess the Aussie shooting interface (love British legacy of simplicity and efficiency) and 12-bit braw has impeded that to happen : ) Reason why I tend to never be able to forget : D better to not let it at home as Dennis wrote : -)
  17. Funny, I don't find the Pocket cameras run-n-gun unfriendly, quite the opposite. Love the camera design and form factor. Japanese menus irritate me. Maybe because I come from film camera realm? No idea. I am a Panasonic lover anyway, just not as much as before. Exactly because of Blackmagic cameras, not to even mention their superior IQ. S1H is quite of a device per se, without the need of any comparative term no matter what. I second Glenn's opinion though: pricey, nowadays. It is what it is, folks, just sayin' : -)
  18. That's the price of fame, man, team work ; ) Blackmagic is what RED could have been, fortunately, for these Aussies, lot of people have moved to their ecosystem. Who knows one of these days you join the cult : -D You've already been interested on my stuff, at least, some starting point to begin with LOL We can even collaborate together, really, we never know, a few collaborations have began like that, occasionally. I'm a proud devotee on coworker networks, count on it : ) How's your narrative work?
