  1. I believe both sides can coexist and even complement each other. A diversity of POVs should not hurt. Why this must always tend to be polarized?! Revolutionary, your mileage may vary and that's not exactly a 16mm form factor at same time, all concur and don't exclude each other. Hard to get? : -)
  2. No need to downvote and paint the forums from a negative perspective, just take a look on the versatility of this.
  3. Love really cheap cameras, so does Blackmagic, Pocket all included ; ) Great cams BTW : -)
  4. Tease me up! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdB_Gam-igg&lc=UgwKhekRV1OUO4XU1g94AaABAg.9BCNLNjbN0-9BCRvBZWuPO
  5. All you say has a good point in the back of it but two variables can help to change a bit: modern sensors' higher sensitivity and fast small sensor coverage glass as lighter as more handy we can get ; ) On the other hand: We finally have 100% RGB Color coverage (now) !
  6. Means sorta Pocket version is coming... FF, very likely, I'd dare to bet. For soon.
  7. Pretty impressive their full range of products and accessories: https://rhinocameragear.com/collections/rhino-products https://rhinocameragear.com/pages/how-the-rhino-system-works A bit expensive or maybe not, depending on the angle, but the hell of something: https://rhinocameragear.com/collections/rhino-products/products/rhino-arc-ii
  8. Maybe they want you end to buy two units finishing twice its original price range? LOL ; ) I laugh to not cry here! : -)
  9. They simply don't want it. Let's hope a third party such as Atomos may want to complement it if possible.
  10. If so, to couple with an external recorder might do the trick if the heat doesn't come up internally from sensor.
  11. Finally... when their traditional competitor launches 4K 120p -- let alone any smartphone manufacturer, well, and people still complain about Canon! LOL : ) Good news for Nikonians... my first professional SLR, pity I left but still keep my F3, so I guess this is good news for those inside their most recent ecosystem.
  12. But that's what we're looking for, the perfect hybrid, isn't it? ; ) On that one, they could offer it if not strictly for protecting their own C-series... : -)
  13. Not possible to try the HDMI route to bridle it: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1547009-REG/canon_eos_r5_mirrorless_digital.html/specs But... https://youtu.be/581U_IVFA1Q?t=298 ?? What is this...?
  14. They will need to win the AF challenge to themselves, though... ; -)
  15. A concern, yes, I meant if there will be any way to reduce the overheating, hence to be variable. I believe if there will be some upcoming accessory to keep the temperature under control we might have something here to extend its usability. The idea seems promising to me : ) Great devices, but they don't offer you the same specs... ; ) Without mention the compatibility with our glass arsenal ready for. It seduces me to only change body rather than my whole system : -) Interesting reading and pics to illustrate the whole crazy concept BTW: https://usermanual.wiki/Orion/Orion52095UsersManual497745.728215350.pdf (in the right time for our engineer? @BTM_Pix ; ) Another workaround as someone has already joked here with is to buy a 2nd unit... : D In the US, they will cost you EUR 3455 each ; -)
  16. I'd say taking their 23 degrees remark, it is prone to variably help I believe. It is worthy... I don't know if you've already realized there's no other similar camera for under more than a few 5 digits... this one is for a fraction of such price! Now add your EF glass or buy some affordable out there for a few hundred of bucks and let's have a perfect camera in hands ; -)
  17. Yeah, Irene is a stills photographer but she is a hell (or should I say paradise? ; ) of a prolific portrait photography shooter, one of the most compelling Canon users I've ever found more recently to operate with in the brand's CS look range and taking properly advantage from: https://500px.com/irenerudnyk https://www.instagram.com/irenerudnykphoto/ Her natural shooting style is captivating to say the least. A lesson to pixel peeping & other geek sportsmen ; -)
  18. Until some accessories manufacturer will come with something like this ; ) https://www.telescope.com/Astrophotography/Astrophotography-Accessories/Orion-DSLR-Camera-Cooler/c/4/sc/61/p/101916.uts https://pcper.com/2016/10/strap-a-peltier-to-your-dslr-so-you-can-lengthen-your-exposure/
  19. With the new R5, there will surely be people who will be thinking to adopt one for their arsenal like me : ) Not yet decided, but I am impressed so far to be sincere, so here is my fair wondering. How many of you have used good oldie EF lenses going on this new* mirrorless series? What about AF? And stabilization in-camera with on EF glass side, for video purposes? Here's something neat I've found: * to me, at least : -)
  20. It didn't surprise me, they wouldn't put the eggs in the same basket : ) It's a specialised tool IMHO, the most advanced hybrid tool so far and not exactly a cinema camera as we're used to see : -) Better than the use of a smartphone from a tiny sensor size without question... Or is there anyone to disagree here? ; -)
