Nice find @Anaconda_ : ) BTW, are you Dutch or located in the tulips land? : -)
-
Agreed. Let alone his eye on the best second half to always pop up from those devices and glass, I guess this only might end into a bit of envy, as matter of fact : ) Hope to not lose from my sight anyway ; ) Kudos lucky man, you have no need of anything more... : -) Really, I have no idea where you find time : D to yet shoot and care to share ; -) Thanks @DBounce !
-
Chris, your in your own : ) I've seen lots of examples "in the wrong way", I do never call them wrong, just different option from mine ; ) Do you like that P4P outcome? Very well, you're obviously entitled to your choice as already said. I can even add my criticism to the way you or someone else sees the footage to watch. As much as you or anyone else on the opposite direction, actually. Both ways. Count on it. I just don't commit the mistake to say one is better than the other one when it is not. Fact, not a matter of opinion, mate (E : -)
-
No, I was ironic, hence my LOL there on both ways: that one you say. And the obsession on topic. Reason why people end to choose anything which may seem more detailed, no matter what. The more we watch the less we see most part of time ; -)
-
WTH is that?! LOL Detail. Focus on detail and that's all... : -)
-
I'm sorry Chris but if anyone is going into fanboy territory is you who came to this thread (take a look at the title, what's the problem?... P4P threads don't take as much interest as MP2 ones? LOL) to infer something like science... From faulty settings (not the best settings for sure) and love for oversharpened edges as universal and a bible for all? Let alone the cold colors and the same B-O-R-I-N-G customary WB choice out from there :X Why are you unable to post a single sample which may convince me as someone who just likes something much different from you? Is this fanboyism? Or actually just the one who wants to tell the world some inner decision from the deep of yourself? I respect your decision as already posted above. I just expect you may feel the same when someone is entitled to see something different from you without seeing a distinct find as victim of patronizing. Don't be condescending : ) You don't need to diminish the other side only to feel your option is in good shape on high-way or do you? ; -)

Bit rate could be an explanation. I'd bet more on larger sensor heating with no absolute clue on engineering, though : -)

@Trek of Joy @webrunner5 to each its own... I understand your choice. Not mine at all, though. I am not checking motion, but from those samples? @thebrothersthre3 said it all, without getting the meaning of his find, I see : ) It is not "way softer though" but "way more cinematic actually" ; ) Not for all because we're dealing with subjective perspective on here... ; -) So, don't come to tell me Mavic Pro 2 IQ is lower level once for some other people, it can end to exactly be the contrary... : P Really? Where are the samples?
-
Here's a fair reason why the IQ difference should be minimal or even none.

The brand label is not the best... I'd have called it White Magic or Light Magic instead. Presumptuous option IMHO. The only darkness I buy is that one from where light pops us : -)
-
Indeed... But from field testing? Isn't it possible to match the outcome from both birds...? I'd much appreciate to see test footage to concur or deny such fair feeling : -)
-
@Trek of Joy I disagree, Chris... Good luck anyway, we always know what we need. In any case, I'd appreciate you could show me a single example of your conclusions... : -)
-
The point is: that's a price list. This doesn't mean they will ever sell a single unit! : -D
-
Now we're talking ! : -)
-
Sure not, Yannick! Such complaints only raise either a smile or a loud sigh in my face : ) Alex, as much as every camera out there. That is, it is much likely that another camera will cost much higher if not lots of "much"... BTW take it as mushroom effect. This is anything related to this camera in particular. Every camera requires that or another extra cost. This camera will always cost less than the most camera options. : -)
-
I firmly disagree. Every single camera needs accessories... Trust me, this camera needs the most affordable accessories you find out there : -)
-
I don't find it disappointing at all. What similar camera you have for the price? I get more than one solution for everything you've just mentioned... Every single one of them... This camera is still a milestone. You just need to know how to shoot with it : -)
-
Trust me, I'm afraid that wouldn't be solved, with the early production units at least. To work around is the only way to accept there's no perfect tool. It is up to you to make it work as due now ; -)
-
Well, to be honest seems to me the most simple alternative is to use microphones without phantom power or use a small mixer to provide that... Don't expect anything else ; -) https://www.dragonimage.com.au/saramonic-smartrig-2-channel-xlr-microphone-audio-mixer.html

That one made to come to my mind a classic:

1,100 g for Moza Air 1 as much as Zhiyun Tech Weebill Lab with the quirks. Moreover, much more affordable... ; ) Who from here has one to tell us about?!
-
I've heard Pocket 4K has been used on Moza Air which handles more than 3 Kg BTW: https://www.gudsen.com/moza-air-spec Seems the more interesting and most affordable solution for this camera by now. Any thoughts from any users here? What about how much hard is to set it up?
-
Really? Here: https://www.thephoblographer.com/2018/09/25/adapter-review-fringer-ef-fx-pro-tested-on-the-fujifilm-x-pro-2/ "The Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 that I used with this adapter did alright, functioning as I would expect it to most of the time, but occasionally having a weird glitchy focus or aperture change issue." What's your input from your experience with?
-
I don't see any inexplicable animosity against them. Only some skepticism from a few more centered in the other contenders. Those they mostly trust and want to feel confident with. It's all about that instead. I see these same usual suspects to salute the efforts of everyone, though. Also because the more players the better features and more affordable the gear is. Customers double their revenue. As well, those participants who understand better their own industry.
