  1. Didn't need it yet. AFAIK the usual one available for.
  2. Both of you are right. Battery issue is used to be overstated by a few detractors non-users anyway : ) For a simple reason: people have too little to blame this top capture device of nowadays : -)
  3. From a Sigma Art 18-35 f/1.8... posted by another youtubber. No need to wait for NAB'19 ; ) from a glad camper with 4 units so far, Happy shooting! : -)
  4. Not really. There are also power solutions out there beyond extra units from your shooting vest or pocket for extending your shot if so. And no tilt screen is not much of a problem (have you ever used one for a long time BTW?) in any way other than as vlogging or external monitoring. If this is effectively necessary as long as rig it, really, not strictly mandatory at all, mere FUD of non-users mantra or from a tiny minority : ) Nothing against tilt screens I've always become used as Panasonic shooter but to take it as a deal breaker is a nonsense and pure BS to this user here : -)
  5. On the lack of locking connection, that picture made a good laugh a year ago: What about now? The most funny is I have used it holding the media exactly in the palm of my hand for casual shooting with 100% success. So far so good... : P Happy shooting mates from your PRO standardsssssssss! Yellow would be too boring without other colors around ; -)
  6. Loved the 2nd part of your post! : ) Looks to me definitely a no-brainer : -) Back to a decade ago when 5D2 popped up, people were used to call the VDSLRs a non-professional solution route as well, look where we are today ; -) Speaking of devil even though a bit OT now, watched yesterday night on a fake 4K : D TK800 projector from a 1080p source though, Shane Hurlbut DoPed this piece in Italy shot on some other tool (2018 RED aka Weapon) also for amateurs (once) written by the keyboard of some other online forum posters outside: Ah last but not least, to those complaining for half power life, the little money of the investment lets you buy twice for double-decker your daily battery and as ultimate backup ; ) as Rode's man says in the end of that video up there, happy shooting! : -P
  7. There's always a reasoning. For some reason it is confusing. Price range policy addressed to different markets, much hard to trace from a simple search engine.
  8. Buddy, I see you've lost the whole point of their comments though. Nothing related to footage. The way people live inside their tiny screens instead. Lack of multiple perspective(s) to mention only a part of the equation, that's their major concern I entirely subscribe, that's the most I can add actually.
  9. Savoir fair. Know-how. There's no free soup, fellas ; -)
  10. Yeah, yeah... sorry to joke a bit ; ) what firmware version? LOL : -)
  11. Really? I only find any slight differences if any. To me braw has been a disappointment for a simple reason... because of CinemaDNG's IQ standard. The fact we have one or another doesn't help either.
  12. Any artifacts come from the codec or the way it is implemented if they are not visible going with the CinemaDNG, isn't it?
  13. Not even present on CinemaDNG, so...
  14. If you are not happy with .braw, nothing holds you to go back to CinemaDNG. As simple as that. Well, perhaps only double tap for new update features, you'll probably never use anyway, that's all. You're also comparing 1080p to 4K, that's your beef on your Apples to Oranges approach and you any naysayer(s) tend to ignore or forget that : ) Moreover, there's no SOC ever at big screen. Big boys such as ARRIs and co included. Post is your friend to help you out with any of your mantra.
  15. Z cam guys & gals are almost ready to introduce a new one these days... ; -)
  16. GH5 series is one of my fav cam series ever : ) However, I am astonished with the P4K. A new whole game. Absolutely. A breeze to shoot with. A four decades dream to become true to me. Yet, very easy to shoot with straight out the box. I am not used to any rig there, actually. 1080p outcome is there as well. Not even need to shoot 4K as you wish.
  17. @webrunner5 you love to say these cameras are hard to play with, isn't it? ; ) Well, I have 11 Panasonic cameras as of now. I find all those 'hidden/buried' settings as Yannick @Yannick Willox wrote and alike, the most boring and counterproductive capture-handy-tool a shooter can shoot with. Glad I see, it is not only me used to and coming from film realm where ISO / shutter / aperture were practically the only variables I would need to have in mind to focus myself on framing and the whole remainder. I still recall when WB had popped up side by side with the video advent in my life. These silly modern cameras are a perfect PITA to the art and craft instead : P BMD has recovered to me and many other lucky users the happiness of shooting once again, back to what really matters. BTW, have you ever played with WB settings on P4K? ; ) Give it a try, not hard to follow my remark here. That effectively counts to the excellence of your outcome, skin tones and so on. Blackmagic is more than a camera manufacturer, they are part of your crew (E : -)
  18. Every time I put my hands on it, I am still praising this thing. I've simply stopped to have pleasure to shoot with anything else : -)
  19. Mattias, your attitude is a good one : ) Señor Martin's bad joke embarrasses me as Iberian to say the least. Time to stop playing around. Such approach is a shame. Long life to Aussies! : -)
  20. To be sincere, I wouldn't use nowadays a smartphone for video, especially when you have either a Canon M ML RAW or a Osmo Pocket. I mention it for stills though : -)
  21. Unexpected, maybe yes maybe not, would seem elucidative in any way whatsoever this comparative into PureView realm here: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/features/item/23435_Imaging_showdown_Nokia_808_Sym.php However, the 2019 version is far from its RAW best, pretty worthy to mention as well. Last but not least... "This isn't the PureView branded phone you're looking for." What to say more?
