Does 2018 couple to a RED ONE camera make any sense in a movie practically shot on superb low light photography? Shot on RED ONE Camera (Mysterium-X if my eye serves to its signature) with Kowa Anamorphic Lenses.

I guess the removal thing will truly mark this edition from April 8 on.

Well, perfectly natural your point but to strictly call it crash cam range is absolutely lame. Without mention how someone who loves art tends to see the most part of the pictures produced there, actually : ) That's invariably their outcome to frequently discard instead. Much more often. History tells that. Not enough number of adverbs to express my revolt on the way gear is categorized according to the(ir) price list. BMD as for instance has proved such nonsense. It is only a matter of numbers. Bucks. Not bit rate nor pixels. The box office numbers or its potentiality, not even the effective cost price of manufacturing. Let alone R&D. A capitalist thing. Nothing against. But call it the name it has. No other. Crash cam is a shame. Just my two cents, though (E : -)

Big enough to consume power but also for more than that. Focus assist is a breeze where AF can even be missed. I speak by myself. A bit obsessive with focus accuracy, AF included. And also where a simple accessory designed for a kind of trouble effectively much wider than strictly to P4K can easily address the issue pointing a capable workaround as happens with the usage of many other 5" LCDs actually. I'd rather have such one than tiny unusable much smaller screens improperly for cinematic evaluation in a good part of shooting circumstances. Without fresh framing/composition and competent focus operation -- well beyond to have some auto mode operating that on our behalf for sure, no innovative photography nor wider gamut/DR will help you out there, count on it : -)

Again: have you ever used this camera for more than once in anything longer of a trivial hands-on without prejudice of any kind? Such great generous monitor unique of a kind has a clever angle design where low shots are much beyond you could expect from the lack of a dedicated articulating screen.

Both of you are right. Battery issue is used to be overstated by a few detractors non-users anyway : ) For a simple reason: people have too little to blame this top capture device of nowadays : -)

Not really. There are also power solutions out there beyond extra units from your shooting vest or pocket for extending your shot if so. And no tilt screen is not much of a problem (have you ever used one for a long time BTW?) in any way other than as vlogging or external monitoring. If this is effectively necessary as long as rig it, really, not strictly mandatory at all, mere FUD of non-users mantra or from a tiny minority : ) Nothing against tilt screens I've always become used as Panasonic shooter but to take it as a deal breaker is a nonsense and pure BS to this user here : -)
