Camera/Equipment Bag?

Recommended Posts

Hello Guys..

I have a 5dMK3, about 7-8 lenses ranging from the 70-200mm f2.8(Biggest) to the 85mm f1.8 (Smallest)

and a Zacuto Fee-N-G, and some accessories, (No Mattebox)

Some Lavs and 4 H4n's and a Rode NTG3 with a Headphone Pair and a Presonus Audiobox for Mixing which is not huge by any means and my Macbook Pro 15'4 inch laptop.

I have Philip Bloom's pocket dolly by kessler, Glidecam HD4000, a Tripod, 3 Gorpo camers, no Huge Accessories, just some small stuff like a gorillapod and what not.

I have a AtomOS Ninja 2, and some SSD's

and currently I have three Bags holding those stuff, 2 Lowepro's Trekker 600 and a Pelican.

I want to know if there is a bag big enough to accomodate all of those Equipment? I can let out the Glidecam and Dolly since they have their own bags, and I rarely take them together to a shoot.

Any Advise Please?

Thanks//

You don't say if you need it for local transport / outdoors / air travel or so.

What I've done is to use a small camera bag for lenses + camera, and put that bag inside my Haglöfs trekking bag:

That's my one-bag solution for when I want to have my big video tripod with me. Works nicely for hiking and is ok for mountain biking on trails, at least for the shorter 10-20 km distances.

If it is for outdoors, packing smaller bags in a large backpack is a good solution. If this is for travel, there's probably better options.

No, those kind of trekking bags have a strap around the hips, so almost all of the weight is distributed on the hips - the shoulder straps are mainly for keeping the bag in place. It's actually very comfortable, even when trekking longer distances. It's a bit less comfortable on a mountain bike, but not too bad.

I've used this backpack when hiking in the mountains here in Sweden. I've had about 15-20 kg in it (15 kg = 33 pounds) with food, camping gear & camera equpiment. When you only use the shoulder straps you really feel the weight, but as soon as you tighten the hip strap and get all the weight distributed to the hips, it feels like 70-80% of the weight suddenly disappears!

Here you can see it in use (I'm the guy to the left)  :) https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/333337_10150931147802263_378857687_o.jpg

I usually attach tripod, tent & sleeping bag with straps, so there's lots of more room for other stuff inside.

Selling a excellent condition 5D Mark III with Canon 50mm f1.8, battery grip with hand strap, 5 batteries, AC wall adapter, 3 CF cards, and 2 chargers. The 5D has Magic Lantern preinstalled for RAW shooting and upgraded operating system. I can also remove the Magic Lantern if need be. The camera is only 2 years old, has been mainly used in a studio setting shooting only video, and taken extremely great care of. It has less than 6,000 shutter count and is in like new condition. The Canon 50mm 1.8 is the hard to find older model with the better focus ring. The lens is in excellent condition, with no scratches, fungus, or oil on aperture blades. Set comes with 3 CF cards, a 64gig, and two 32gig cards.  $2000 OBO

For sale is a slightly used Canon SL2. I'm a reviewer on YouTube and bought this camera for a review. So if you buy this, you're getting a very lightly used camera.

The SL2 has all the modern features from Canon. Dual Pixel AF and Digic 7 processor. I love the small size of this camera.

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask.

      Thanks!
