@yan_berthemy_photography
Hi there, I am creating this topic because I am having some difficulties in exposing landscapes with V-LOG on my GH5, I do know how to expose skin tones, it's between 42 for really caucasian skins and 55 for really white skins, I use 18% middle grey at 42IRE to expose skin and white at 61IRE... but let's talk about landscapes... I don't really know how to proceed, how should I analyze my scene and then... correctly expose it... I never saw any tutorials about that, I've only seen tutorials for exposing your skin... Some people say, keep important object above 30 and do not pass 75IRE or 80IRE to avoid clipping highlights, and some say... 20IRE to 80IRE, I am a bit lost, It's really confusing... need help, thanks. Mark Romero 2
I would be surprised if exposing over 75 IRE would lead to clipping. With Sony SLOG 2 it is often recommended to expose skin tones at 70IRE.

webrunner5
Yeah V-Log is a good 15, 20 points lower on skin tones than Slog 2.
