Byron Yang 3
The Super Takumar f1.4 is used from 0:00-2:16, and the Canon FD 28mm f2.8 is used from 2:17-4:37. No focal reducer used. I've been shooting too many anime conventions with my favorite Helios lenses, and decided to test out these two lenses (on my Baby Moller) for an upcoming anime convention I'll be shooting in two weeks. I think I'm going to go with the Canon. I love the contrast and real estate I get from this little lens. https://youtu.be/YLAmwOH4jkM Edit: Definitely try out the Takumars and Canon FD lenses. I've also read on the Anamorphic Shooters FB page that the newer lenses don't work as well as the older vintage ones. funkyou86
tweak 448
The slower FDs really work well. Byron Yang and funkyou86
buggz 144
Okay, thanks. On 4/10/2016 at 1:04 PM, tweak said: No @buggz. Ive tried to use this a long time ago, for transcoding I believe. Have not looked at it since. Oh, I bought this earlier this year, it looks promising. I'm STILL learning all of this BTW... http://hdcinematics.com/Convert-V3.html On 4/11/2016 at 11:00 AM, Bold said: Buggz, have you tried Handbrake? It doesn't do everything that Alex D's script does, but it's a quick way to convert aspect ratios on PC.
