    Sigma FP

You are Sigma designer. You are about to release in few months the very first FF foveon mirrorless camera. You know the disadvantages of Foveon technology ( huge weakness on video capture, severe weakness on still photography on high iso) What you think to keep your clients happy ? You release a small not foveon body with same mount and same sensor size to be part of a set with upcoming FF Foveon camera....FP will do whatever Foveon could not , body size is not that big to fit in your bag and suddensly you have a solution capable of everything.
  2. Comparison would be more reliable if was possible to use the very same lens on cameras.
  3. We are not quite sure who gives sensors to Sigma(for FP) and to Panasonic for Lumix S serie. Towerjazz could be the source
  4. What kind of adapter is that one, can you tell ?

    Sigma FP

Τhat means probably a quattro crop sensor camera is coming as well in 2020. Let's see how more Sigma could surprise us.

    S1 Anyone?

    Any link of this ?
  7. Sigma keeps saying that MC11 and MC21 have been designed for SIGMA lenses. The fact that other lenses like Canon,Tamron etc cooperate as well it's a matter of luck. C-AF failure is a design weakness but tomorrow first native L mount Sigma lenses are presented, we hope for good news as well for EF users.
  8. It's not better. Move the projected curson on the braid hair on the right corner of the center and you will realise that. But it's impressive

    S1 Anyone?

Is new paid firmware available? Has anyone already tried that?
  10. There is not such a high priced camera available in Greece. All resellers sell from 1050€ to 1200€ plus VAT.
  11. I don't find a reason for Sigma to accept that. Pana/Leica need Sigma lenses right now not the opposite. Sigma would gladly offer their cooperation in order to sell their lenses but not with a term not to sell lenses especially to canikon clients that propably will win again the market.
  12. Sigma never received engineering info from Canon and Nikon for their mounts as they did last year from Sony. They always had to reverse engineer Canikon Mounts to copy their protocols. They will not have an issue again.
  13. Olympus was testing 8k cameras like 12 years ago. Personal info when I visited Olympus HQs years ago in Tokyo. I am very curius why they never evolved those cameras into market.
  14. What for ? The most strange is the release of a PL to RF adapter. For this camera ? I doubt so. Perhaps another camera is preparing to hit higher specs.
  15. I have read rumors about cost estimation around 200-250$. Not bat at all.
