I was able to tell by the autofocus alone lol. The xt3 snapped focus un-naturally & the gh5 was on a hunting expedition. Is it possible to get a smooth rack focus with the xt3s af?

1.74x is what people have said engineers told them it was. I always hear 1.7-1.8x.

I would like to see peter m disclose his canon payments once. The 6d ii & the eos r promotion; saying he is going to use it all the time, then still just uses the 1dx ii. Makes you wonder, maybe canada doesn't have laws requiring you to disclose?

Huge difference between all-i and ipb. I have not been impressed with a single m50 video; the skin always looks flat, almost cartoon like. No detail.

The autofocus isn't anywhere close to as good as their dslr's, hopefully they sort it out on their next one. Right now, it looks like they lost their AF advantage over Sony.

Multiple top people working directly with canon have said that canon has told them that a video centered RF mount camera will be coming. Who knows when that is, I doubt it would release before an a7riii competitor. I wouldn't be surprised to see that 26mp one come in spring, hopefully it isn't a lower tier one, but a 1dx type camera. Will you guys return this if sony releases their supposed "pro" apsc model that should have all of this + ibis, better battery & maybe 10 bit 4:2:2 internal? Obviously the fuji will have better colors, but color is easier to fix in 10 bit. I just wish fuji had some faster os lenses, it would be cool to use this as a travel/lightweight cam to pull out and get some smooth shots (not walking). Having it on a gimbal all the time could get annoying, especially when the battery dies fast & you have to rebalance. The end product that pros have been able to get with it is no doubt impressive.
