You're safe with lens turbo, I have been using it on my GH4, now on my GH5 with Sigma 18-35 and has no vignetting in 16:9 or 4:3 mode.
Go for it, overpriced speedboosters can do us a favour.

I'm having lag as well with my GH5 + Aputure VS2 combo.

This was my very first time shooting 180fps with the GH5. I was too affraid that the image will be soft, but now, I'm good with it. It is soft, but for youtube, still above average :D
Please do not laugh loudly, we did our best to do something stupid (PS: there are english lyrics, just wait for it).

You're right with the DR, A7SII definitely got the edge! But the 2x crop is bullshit with the slowmo. If you use a speedbooster with the GH5 you get a 1.5x crop with 180fps. Also strongly disagree with your statement on the color. If you badly expose LOG no matter what brand you use, it'll be crap.

I owned a GH4 before, so I wasn't new to pana stuff, still after the shitstorm on the forums I was pretty unconfident with my new camera and it's capabilies and was thinking about about switching to A6500. After 5 months of use, I am pretty confident not to switch.
The DR is not really improoved, but still you get a solid slow mo (with a cheap mitakon speedbooster you only have 1.5x crop, while the A7SII crops even more in 120fps mode), the battery is awesome, the ergonomics feels okay, and you get a 4:3 full sensor readout. IMO this is really a big deal, i found myself using this even without anamorphic lenses, I can reframe any shot. 4K 60fps is awesome, but the 10bit codec sucks. IBIS saves my powers, no need for tripods or shoulder rigs while running around on the field. The Like709 will become your favourite, i swear this is the best picture profile i ever used (not counting the logs).
If you watch any review on the YT, they will tell you exactly the same. So if you don't need propper AF (like the A6500 have), get a gh5, get a cheap speedbooster, get some vintage lenses and unleash your creativity.

Sorry if it's an inappropriate question, but how much does your rig worth now with th HCDNA?
I had a Moller 19/1.5x in the past, which was a focus-trough. The image and the flares were similar to 16/32/1.5x but the lens was much smaller and was not the best with focusing to infinity. That lens trends for around 700 to 900 eur, depending on the condition.
I really adore the look and feel of the 1.5x lenses so I'm thinking about reinvesting some dosh to it :D Does the 32/16/1.5x perform according to his price?

Get an Aputure VS2 FineHD, it has FullHD resolution and you can get it for 250bucks from ebay.

I'm searching alternatives for feeding the directors monitor wirelessly with an HDMI transmitter. I saw some great pieces, but I am not willing to spend hundreds, so I looked up to dx and find this one:

After several years of working with Logic and other DAWs I found Audition not so user friendly (but this is only my personal opinion, audition is a great piece of SW) , so I compose the sounds in premiere, export the OMF, import the OMF in to DAW and mix it there.

Saw this video couple of weeks ago, and I find the technique of desaturating the shadows very pleasing. However I work in premiere and the lumetri panel does not have the ability to do that, or am I mistaken? Is there any way to do it? Thanks!

If you export the sequence from premiere, does it behave the same? The only thing which comes in my mind is to clear all cache, restart computer and try again.
