  1. Just did a quick test on Davinci also. The way I get the exported file (ProRes) to look exactly the same with what I see inside Davinci is this: 1.Turn off "Use Mac Display Color Profiles for Viewers 2. Instead, convert your monitors' icc profile to .cube and use it as a 3D Video Monitor LUT 3. Use sRGB for Timeline Color Space 4. Export ProRes I'm sure that this is not the correct way to do it, but this is a workflow that works for me.
  2. Dimitris, maybe the problem is the codec you are using to export the files. Which codec do you use? After effects has color management. Premiere doesn't. You have to create a lut for it. On After can go to Project Settings -> Color Settings and choose the color space you want to work. I have found that Rec 709 Gamma 2.4 has inconsistencies when exporting ProRes files. For ProRes export, working in sRGB 2.1 colour space gives me the most accurate results.
  3. No gpu acceleration on DaVinci, Premiere and FCPX for x-t3's h265 files. Bummer, waiting for an update. Thanks for the files guys.
  4. Can you share any h265 10bit files to play with?
  5. Reading this lines crossed my mind if it would be ever possible to have waveforms on top lcd. That would be something!
  6. I think this is related to the blinking pixels at the bottom of the screen issue and how Sony fixed it... Good job!
  7. No, it has not changed. Just checked, it's the same.
  8. You can find some good info here! https://www.eoshd.com/2017/06/magic-lantern-raw-video-current-camera-capabilities-updated-2017/
  9. Looks like ML for 80D is just around the corner. First 1080p 14bit DNG sample in post #291. https://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=17360.msg200539#new
  10. You forgot something... "Foolishly I should have quit earlier to recover the logs from the SD card, but alas that Sandisk appears to be toast, hence the lack of precise data - just my anecdotal report." "Do not try on expensive cards until we figure out what happened!"
  11. Thanks a lot for sharing @Arikhan! Keep up the good work with your studies! We 'll be all waiting patiently until you are ready to reveal us your magic tricks. Well done!
  12. Although the AF speed is waaaay faster with DR100, I think it is not so smooth. Can anyone else see it or my eyes flipped out?
  13. Absolutely, just wanted to point it out in case you missed it.
  14. I bet you can buy two A7III for the price of one. Plus GM lenses and a lollypop... Just kidding, but the price of the A7III is not so bad. Instead, i believe the price in dollars is a bargain for these specs. Price in euros though...
  15. At 9:40 he has the camera locked down but the af is still hunting too much...
  16. @webrunner5 Right click on Resolve's monitor --> Grab still, then in the gallery panel right click on saved still --> export.
  17. Ok, mixed the two of them. Also added sharpness to the face, liked what @Geoff CB did there, and blurred a bit the background. Nice to see what others tried. Well done creating this thread @mercer! I believe this is the main reason a forum should exist, among others. Exchange of opinions and knowledge. Well done mates! @mercerActually, if you open the mounted mlvfs folder the dngs are there!

    NX2 rumors

I think it's a good idea to merge this thread with that one. It's like the Groundhog Day...
  19. @kye This is what i was thinking also. I don't know nothing about the movie, story, scene etc. Don't have a clue what feelings wanted to be expressed on this scene. I was just playing... @mercer The 1st one is warmer and the 2nd is cooler. Combine them and you are at point 0 again. Just kidding Lovely frame btw. And what about this bokeh!
  20. @mercer I played a little with your file... Better click on it I think i prefer the first one.
