    How's in your jurisdiction?
Any personal stories of EOSHD users interesting to share with this community?

Interesting episode in Brazil (sorry, only available in native Portuguese) where the bird can't be 30 meters (horizontally) nearby people for justifiable reasons : D

So here is the leak, no exact specs for now but announcement in 3 days. I hope they don't go for 3yo Sony IMX 586 sensor. I hope for somethings bigger.

Remember him and his earliest RED Hydrogen review? ; ) Well, now he considers my top one the best device available out there too as Marques Brownlee's contest winner:

The most funny is this device is here for months and only now pops up some bit of late focus by the manufacturer's side...
as seems from this entry for example -- the first one I've seen to follow it up since the announcement last August and release a month after:

Yeah, not surprises here, very underrated one indeed.
In Portuguese now (sorry folks, @techie you're right!) but quite of a remark -- selfie camera included on 8K (BTW 5 to 8 minutes before overheating in accordance with the reviewer info/tip) and 4K 120fps for a little bargain, that is, for 800 bucks:

I pretty much ALWAYS do this but 99% of my shots are on a gimbal (in my real estate videos).
Also, I tend to do this for drone shots as well.

Yes, it is. Multi-million dollar Hollywood films don't need it. Different production values. Different gear. Etc. We cannot compare their cameras with ours. Our 1080p is far away of theirs. Our 8K is a way to improve our production value. Different targets too. We can shoot 8K today, why to end with a master below than that!?? Why not take advantage of a future proof?

This is silly.  My country will spend 11 millions this year on a Web Summit ...online. And the brand (!) Photokina will simply vanish?! Why? Is photography dying and I haven't noticed yet? Or the DSLR/mirrorless industry for Christ's sake?
Does it make any sense? : (

Belle reacted to herein2020 in The Best Davinci Resolve Color Grading for Skintones Explanation Ever?
So I have been shooting more fashion and higher end work lately and wanted to improve my color grading process without adding too much time or going down the endless rabbit hole that is known as color grading. My current process is to simply conform each clip to Rec.709 using a VLOG to Rec709 LUT make some minor tweaks using the waveforms then add an adjustment clip over the whole project to give it a certain look and feel. This works fine for events, real estate, etc. but what I am finding is that the finishing LUT is also affecting skin tones in ways that I did not like.
So a quick YouTube search turned up the below video which is what really helped me develop a new workflow that is almost as fast as my previous one but allowed me to greatly improve my color grade without adding too much more time to my process.
My new workflow is as follows:
1 - Apply a VLOG to Rec709 LUT to the clip
2 - Adjust the highlights and shadows using a mixture of the Log Wheels and Color Wheels until I have a good starting Rec709 image
3 - Apply a false color LUT to Node 2 to check for skin tone exposures then remove it when the exposure is right
4 - Create an adjustment clip and adjust the curves, saturation, etc while creating a skin tone layered node to control the skin tones separately
5 - Clone the adjustment clip to each subsequent clip and make small adjustments to the skin tone node qualifier to keep the creative grade from affecting the skin tones

You're right, everything should be a balance and if you use a resource, there's little sense to none repeating it ad nauseam : )
In any case, he knows how to shoot it.
Most shooters lack to frame the subject or have no clue how to properly move the camera, without mention cinematography or how to not cross the red line of the device limitations.
In the end, you ain't refusing that new release but the inability to handle it and take all the potentiality of it.
    Let alone camera settings.
Here's a fine example as far as settings concerns, posted earlier today here but on minute 14:45 instead now:

My beef against Mavic Pro 2 is that couple of grams over 900 mark, the difference between to be subject to be fined or not... ; ) Everyone asking me I am able to suggest the true jump from original version and IMHO much better than the Mini 2 designed for U.S. market limitations, her sister and here is why:
