i don't get it i shoot raw with bmpcc and before that i shoot raw with b5m3 why do you think it would be a problem? i dont shoot 35mm its to wide i do 50mm and up but like i said i can do 35mm yashica full frame with kowa no vignetting there is only vignetting if i point to strong light source

yes you can i have Kowa B&H and yashica 35mm with canon 5dmark 3 no problems i went with Kowa B&H i find Schneider and Isco MC types to be way to sharp like video sharp kowa is sharp but not that video sharp has something to it. I am using 35mm yahsica 2.8 with bmpcc and no vigenting at all also on 60d and full frame 5dm3

so what is this is actually does kowa b&h goes 2x squeeze to 1.55 when trying to focus or it stays 2x even with modification or is this for kowa 16 h so basically does kowa always stays at 2x from 3ft to infinity and in between Thanks

I think its worth doing this going from 5 ft to 3 ft i am just below 3 ft my self. and its not a big complex modification bras are still there alignment is still there its just you cut the bras shorter and you gain more. I wanted to get tokina go get down to 2 to 3 ft. But i now have no really need for tokina now and save 600$

I cut down all 3 tabs and have 3 ft focus which is awesome. Question is there a special way to screw back the main part one with numbers and infinity sign on it it took me long time to get it to rotate properly. I was trying to align infinity sign to white line that is on main body and then screw it back on but then it would rotate all the way backward in the opposite direction then 5 ft number to the white line then screw it back on but then it would rotate until 9 ft and stop. I got it to work finally but just wondering. What is your thought of shewing down the metal part of main lens thinking it will even go down further for even closer focus spinning it from infinity to to infinity symbol or would eternal lens touch or rub against one another

Hi guys my MOD was fail why? because I found out that i don't have as much space to play with as OP i can actually slide razor blade in my space and not have any play . And there are 3 bras tabs on my 2 identical as original post and one longer (pic below) and it is the longer one that is actually preventing the from element to go further back for close up. My kowa will give me sharp close up at 3 ft 44 inch. Thinking if i should do this MOD at all or just go with diopters did you cut both brass tabs?

Hans cutting the brass will it throw lens out of alignment? and focus will be from 5 to 2ft? and it still stay 2x? PS what screws drivers are you using in the video thanks

my did no cd but memory card i did the update with memory card thinking it will update from BM website automatically but it was the old version and on that one interface looks nice and new

I have dell u2410 24 inch using it with deck link mini monitor and resolve but did the calibration for rec 709 and i am getting really accurate results. Dell ultra sharps are really good monitors ps if you get dell for example my i can access factory mode and get full control which is awesome. So yeah dell you cant go wrong PS i slo called dell by phone and haggled over the price they took 150 off from 500 by telling them that i can buy monitor with same spec for less. it was more like i can buy better monitor what can you do for me they are like 150 ok? 3 years after and monitor is still going strong no problems at all

I think BMPCC did not have full uncompressed raw losslessly-compressed raw correct me of i am wrong. I know they head pores and pro res HQ i thought they would keep HQ

Hi guys how do i rollback my BMPCC reason i am doing this is that raw was removed now only option is pro res. BM is saying that Yes, we've switched over and uncompressed RAW is no longer available. Why did we do it? Because there is no different in quality. It's a lossless compression so you end up with a smaller file size but no change the quality of the files. There is no disadvantage. is there relly no difference in raw and pro res they also head pro res HQ you think they would use HQ

I been looking at GLIDECAM XR2000 that can suport up to 2 to 6 lbs but i been looking at FLYCAM 3000 for 177 dollars compare to glidecam for 300 dollars what is your thought on chines or Indian versions. from a video below flycam look really good to me
