Yeah I understand, well I already got the pro and a lot of users upgraded as well. The ursa mini 4.6k is a bit older, so the ump will be sold a lot longer, hence there will be a bigger market for it. So no reason for me to switch back, the ND's + IR are really handy. Yeah if you come to Belgium you can test on mine. But I reckon there are some other UMP shooters in Italy that can help you out.

This gadget could bring someone to choose the mini ursa 4.6k instead of the Ura mini Pro, since the Magicbooster turns the Ursa Mini 4.6k into Mini Ursa Full Frame Camera.
I do not know if it is possible to build it for the Ura mini Pro because the ND filter mechanism that could hurt or prevent assembly.
My limit is that to build an adapter I have to buy a camera each time because I need to have it in my hand for testing.
After I built the NX-L adapter on Samsung NX1 I wanted to apply my experience on a professional video camera and I preferred to start with the cheapest in the Pro industry.

Yes, using high quality glassware, it's not bad to turn the Ursa "full frame"!

I'm a more than happy Ursa Mini Pro owner :)))) Everything is just excellent with Blackmagic cameras. Just finished a new music video with it.

Yeah, modders loved the heck out of the 11-16mm f/2.8. Same for the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 and the Bourne duo: Nikon 28-70 & 80-200mm f/2.8 ED.
    E.g. http://www.pchood.com/PL CINE LENS?product_id=281
Of course, with Tokina doing the modding themselves these days ( http://www.tokinacinema.com/11-16mmT3.html ), you might just want to keep things in-factory and not third party (they do seem to claim better optical characteristics from the stills line-up lenses? Although, I've heard mentions of the breathing still being horrible, so, who really knows). The MFT version I believe occasionally drops down to 699 or something! On the Tokina page, they even show one on an URSA btw, so alteast as suspected, no reason to assume they wouldn't be compatible.

Yeah, the Sony CineAlta primes, now those are interesting if you're shooting S35 and need a solid set of lenses. Dang.

You'd have to test them side by side but I'd be very surprised if there was a justification for anywhere near that multiplier.
Tokina's own cine version of it didn't exist at the time the Sony was released (2011) so it and the Duclos where the only way to get it in that format.
You'd have to decide which one better suited what you are doing as the Sony weighs twice as much and has a 105mm filter thread versus 82mm on the Tokina, either or both of which may be a factor for you.

I can only go by what I'm reading in that thread that it is a re-housed version of it so if it it is then yes.
Tokina do their own PL cine version of it here
    https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1196837-REG/tokina_tc_116p_cinema_11_16mm_t3_0_with.html
And Duclos do a re-housing of it here
    https://www.ducloslenses.com/products/duclos-11-16mm
Both of those versions have more users of them than the Sony so more real life reports will be available to research I suspect.
I haven't used any of them (though I do have an absolutely shredded Nikon version of the stills version !) so I wouldn't be able to comment on the pros and cons of the three of them with respect to each other.

The CineAlta PL primes are very, very well thought of and can be had for 'bargain' (its all relative) prices if you keep your eye out as some dealers may have had them as demo stock.
With regard to this specific lens, it does seem to be a re-housed Tokina from what I can gather so there are other options out there for a PL version of that lens but if you have seen the Sony version at a steal price then steal it

Hum. Never heard of such Sony lens. Is it like the Tokina 28-70mm f/2.6-2.8 getting design rights on the Angenieux one? That Sony made a deal with Tokina for their 11-16mm T3? Anyways, according the official Sony listing it covers their CineAlta S35 PL cameras. Don't really see why you wouldn't be able to use it on another manufacturer's S35 PL cam...

It is not a 4x3 mode, it's a 6x5, so maybe that's where you are having it wrong. The timeline for 2.40:1 in hd is 1920x800, for 2.35:1 1920x816. With the focus module you should be getting the 2x stretch as you are on infinity on your Schneider.

He's a good cheat sheet for DCP sizes
    http://unravel.com.au/files/Unravel_Resolution_CheatSheet.pdf
You should be able to make a custom sized timeline - if you don't want black bars in a box.
Also, if you've been looking at squeezed footage it can look a bit weird when you de-squeeze. But more importantly, as someone has mentioned, the stretch factor can change slightly, since the x2 is taken from when the lens is at infinity - this tends to be a real problem with x2 anamorphics rather than say x1.5 etc.
The best way to know what you've got is to film a circle (on a piece of paper) and then de-squeeze it to your taste.
Doesn't matter how you filmed it, 16:9, 4:3 or 6:5 - you'll still end up de-squeezing it by the same factor.

I think you may see the Sigma mount version being bundled with the SD Quattro before too long.
The current SD Quattro c/w 30mm 1.4 ART bundle is around £800 so with the 18-35mm being £280 more retail than the 30mm 1.4 then £999 would seem right as a bundle.

Thanks @BTM_Pix!  I now have CineLike D on my GX85!  Would it be possible to unlock or add the ability to shoot in the 4:3 aspect ratio in 24p 4K?  The camera only allows 16:9.  I can shoot video in 4:3 using the 4K Burst (S/S) mode, but that's 30p.  I'd like to use my 2X anamorphic attachment using the 4:3 aspect ratio.

Actually bought a used GX85 because of the capability you gave the camera to shoot in Cine-D. Decided to get it as a B-cam to my GH4 and they match well in post with the GH4's Cine-D.

    Thank You, BTM_Pix.

BTM can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this discovery is based upon turning on existing code within the camera and not hacking the code. Since the GX85 only shoots in MP4 and AVCHD without any MOV codec, I would think it's unlikely to up the bitrate. But I also vaguely remember seeing the high bitrate MOV codec in the original command list, but I think VLog was there as well and that wasn't possible.
It would be great if someone from the NX1 hack could take a look at BTM's work and maybe together, they could come up with some more options, if it's even possible. If it is possible, someone should do it soon, because I have a feeling Panasonic will turn off all of these options in an upcoming firmware update.

Oh well, CineD is already more than expected when we all bought this camera. I don't think the score is 1-0, it's more like 0-1. So there's no V-Log, but you can't miss what you never had. Thanks again for the time and effort BTM_Pix. You rock!
