What is the process to modify the lens for close up use?  Did you buy it that way, or pay to have it modded?  i know it has to do with removing the outer thread at least somewhat or completely, and i have been hearing about this "mod recently and was curious if its married to lens originally as purchased or if this can be a sort of aftermarket mod that can be added.

I will be the first person here to let everyone know if my "promised wire refund" actually comes through tomorrow as stated by "Ralf"   I have been trying to to keep my composure and patience throughout this frustrating process, but also have contacted my authorities in case something doesn't happen..   A faint glimmer of trust in humanity still exists in my mind.. I'd like to hope...  we'll see.

Can any Users that were in communication with Ralf (Erjot) Juergens about this lens, please PM me as I am officially opening and investigation about this thief.  I am trying to collect as much information available about him as possible to report to authorities.  As well as if anyone has dealt with this kind of fraud before, any suggestions will be welcomed..

Thanks for the heads up Andrew, but it seems to be a little too late for me on this one.  It's looking pretty clear that I got hosed by this guy!!  Was enthusiastic to deal with a fellow filmmaker instead of ebay, but now, once again, it has just given the community a bad wrap..  very unfortunate..     Now time to collect what was stolen from me.    :angry:

I apologize for my lack of knowledge, but for the life of me i cant figure out how to get this current raw recording version of ML working on my 5d3.. Alpha 3 works like a charm, but i can't figure out how to incorporate the nightly build into this working format? what am I doing wrong??? Thanks for any help, can't wait to test!

Hello fellow lens gurus, I've been looking to buy some kind of start lens, to what will hopefully soon be my anamorphic lens collection. I tired to buy a set of oct-19 lomos over the summer but was endlessly outbid. I'm a canon 5dmk3 and canon l series glass owner, and have wanted to adapt or better yet, actually own anamorphic primes that work on a full frame sensor without dual focusing or piggybacking lens together. I found this on eBay today but don't know much about this lens other than its a later isco and is multi coated. I'm looking into purchasing a set of lomo primes in oct-18 mount. I noticed that to directly mount the lens to a canon camera you have to buy either a oct-18 to oct-19 adaptor, and then an oct-19 to EF. They also make oct-18 to pl, and then pl to EF. Anyways, with either of these adaptor setups, I noticed that the oct-18 versions of the lomo anamorphic primes rear lens barrel rotates when focusing. Does anyone have any insight or experience using or converting oct-18 lomo anamorphic primes to any kind of canon EF setup???? And if so how does the focus work, or ways around it??? Any help is greatly appreciated!!
