  1. He just filmed a ghost. There is no trick or magic behind it .
  2. You forgot to mention about russian uniforms and weapons available in every shop (which 'native' Ukrainians are using in Crimea) ... Didn't know whether to laugh or cry.. Judging by the link you have mentioned you are neonazis or something similarly wise? I feel very sorry for you :(
  3. Fully understand that. It was nightmare for many Russians too. Germans should'nt be blamed for Hitler and Russians for Stalin - only the group of people who supported them (knowing what's going on). Most of ordinary people didn't know what actually is going on. Because of lies and propaganda. From your post one could draw a conclusion that: - Soviets freed Poland from the occupation. That was the propaganda. It is what ordinary people were told (in Poland and Russia after war). The truth is: - Stalin threw Nazis occupant from Poland and gave Poland his (more sophisticated) occupation - not official, based on propaganda and hidden crimes (the same what he was doing in his own country for Russians). Stalin attacked Germans in Poland not to free Poland, but to take Poland. When Germans surrendered he killed secretly thousands of Polish officers (saying it were Nazis) to weaken Poland and take control. So I just wanted to say, that replacement of one dictator for another is not defence or help - it is invasion after invation.
  4. Very sorry for my political previous post, but my ancestry killed by Soviets turn in grave. It was not so long ago. EDIT: It's not current politics post actually, but history (even if it looks familiar to some). "All characters appearing in this work are historical. Any resemblance to current events or persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental" :)
  5. Where did You learn history? In russian propaganda school? Ask my parents or grandparent's (actually 1 still alive) and they will tell you the truth: Nazis occupied Poland and murdered many people... Than Soviets came, occupied Poland and murdered many people.. The only difference between Nazis and Soviets was: - with Nazis we had open war: they said they are enemies and were acting like enemies - Soviets said they are "friends" but were acting like enemies: murdering Poles "from behind" (for example: mass murdered Polish officers and intelligence [Katyn massacre] - not in open war, but saying they are "friends" and killing them from behind one by one). Than they devastated the economy forcing communism totally dependent from Russia. Fortunately ZSRR was weak in 1989 and we managed to abolish the governemt - totally dependent from Russia. So Poland was invaded by Nazis, than invaded by Soviets and freed itself in 1989. If You ask me what I preferer? I prefer open war than "help from brotherly nation" and murdering from behind like cowards.
  6. Best movies ever made :): director: Krzysztof Kieślowski 1. The Double Life of Véronique (1991) 2-4. The Three Colors Trilogy (1993–1994) 4-*. The Decalogue (1989) And something extra for future directors: Amateur [eng: Camera Buff] (1979)
  7. You can also buy SpeedBooster for your existing Tokina or wait for Kowa 8.5mm (http://www.43rumors.com/images-of-the-new-kowa-8-5mm-f2-8-12mm-f1-8-25mm-f1-8-mft-lenses/).
  8. http://www.kowa-prominar.ne.jp/special/wide_lens/index.htm 8.5mm, 12mm and 25mm. Should be in summer.
  9. Just remember that you can always buy a SpeedBooster for that (or other) lenses to make it wider and faster. (instead of buying other lenses)
  10. looks like duplicate thread now. :)
  11. I have posted your tutorial in another thread at the same time
  12. Found a nice tutorial - preview, how to use SLRMagic 1.33x Anamorphot:
  13. Fantastic news! Wondering if You can try it with some nice lens and SLRMagic Anamorphot?
  14. Strange that the flare in your footage is not blue like Andrew's. It's white or little green (ND filter?). Andrew said "..it remains blue no matter what the light source is.". So maybe a different kind of prototype?
  15. Nice! Newbie question (I have never shoot anamorphic): Is there any benefit using m4/3 SpeedBooster with this adapter? For example: - using native m4/3 lens, lets say we can use max. 35mm f2 - using APS-C lens + SB: max would be ~50mm f2.8 (=~35mm m4/3) ? Maximum I can get from this adapter would be the same or do I get something by using SB combo? (1 stop of light or something..)
  16. Better wait for Kowa to modify it for You: http://www.eoshd.com/comments/topic/3851-kowa-announced-m43-cine-lenses-85t30-12t19-16t16/
  17. Great news! Kowa re-entering the cinema business :) http://www.43rumors.com/new-kowa-micro-four-thirds-cine-lenses-announced/ 8.5mm T/3.0 12mm T/1.9 16mm T/1.6 25mm T/1.9 50mm T/2.1
  18. The first poster (20s of wall) said it was 980MB for 20s. So it looks like: 49 MB/s = 22 min 17 sec for 64GB card.
  19. Found first: [EOSHD - no D.L Watson videos allowed on the forum] but not much inside..
  20. http://www.blackmagicdesign.com/ Blackmagic Software 1.5 released with Blackmagic Pocket RAW support :)
  21.   Theoretically FD mount is great because of short flange focal distance: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flange_focal_distance shorter then EF, Minolta, Pentax, Nikon F.... so all of them apply.   but there is big BUT... :( you have to find proper adapter: Canon FD body to X mount lens...
  22. Nice! http://www.metabones.com/product/micro-43/canon-fd-lens-to-m43-speed-booster-adapter-73-detail
  23.   I also got a perfect score with really bad laptop monitor. Maybe the test should be more subtle.. Or bad monitor = heavier color banding = easier?
  24. Thanks for your feedback. I'm an amateur, but there is a lot of info I needed.   It looks like this camera will be a good replacement for my GF3: light (I use small tripod, slider), simple (just record movie), best quality I can get.   My biggest concern is Focus Peaking: You say it doesn't work from time to time (so I have to guess the focus point) or is it misleading (incorrect) ?   The other issues are not a problem for me: I record max 20min/day and cut to 30min movie in post-production for my one week holiday trip.
