It will be the ultimate run and gun for me, especially paired with Sigma 18-35mm and Speedbooster, not even Came 7800 can support this combo, let alone zoom/focus on the go while being stabilized!

​16-50 OSS does not work on A7s, so as the 18-55mm

GH3/4 can record 4hr continuously on a single charge, I think some record 6hr using external battery, no over heating whatsoever
 

I hope Olympus can take lesson from Fuji!
 
The IBIS is such an invaluable assets for videos especially on shooting lens without IS.

The SLR Magic Anamorphic also works on Panasonic 14mm without problem, but not Olympus 17mm F1.8 which you get vignetting and border quality are bad. It good to know that Leica 15mm also works! That F1.7 is handy for indoor/low light..
 
Really interested if GH4 can do 4:3 recording in 4K, I would definitely trade the 1.33X Anamorphic for that!  2X squeeze give you far more view than 1.33X does

Here's a test I shot with the GH4 + SLR Magic Anamorphot 1.33x. The process is very simple on FCPX. I just use thescale / distort setting and set the vertical to 75%. That might not be the accurate percentage that is necessary
but that's what looked good to me. Although 77-78% works as well. Hope that helps.

btw FF is overated, I tend to find myself shooting in lower F stop so I can fucking focus properly

I am sure you can see the difference between 8MP and 2MP photos, it is the same for movie, a native 2MP footage is never as detailed as 8MP downsample to 2MP one, hence why everyone one shoot 8MP photos on their phone when 2MP is more than enough for everything, because there is a clear difference in detail.
 
And in the next few years when 4K is the standard like FHD for today, all your work will look what SD footage looks like on FHD screen.
 

I wonder how does the E-M10 do since it share the same processor as E-M1, though only 3Axis IS (from video it look pretty stable). No pdaf sensor means no pdaf strip will be shown on specific condition, and at half the price I am much more tempted to get as 2nd camera for handheld
 

Asus 28" 4K reported to have native 4K 60Hz, unlike the Dell offering which only have 4K 30hz, they both gonna cost for $800 and less I think
 
I used to have MBPR 15, but gradually overtime they get overheat, my friend's power adapter even melted!  (my one clocked over 100c when rendering, you can probably boil water or cook some egg on it lol)
 
Now I bought my self a new desktop for editing and rendering, it is at least 70% faster than MBPR 15 when u export the video out, and at only 1/3rd of the price and runs much cooler too, with a lot of HDD space to waste.  (and option to add PCI-E HDD/SSD in the future too for ultimate speed), with 32GB of ram it should handle up to 6K no problem too I hope
 
Btw if you happened to see 4K monitor you can instantly tell the difference between 4K and FHD/WQHD monitors, the difference in clarity and detail is quite apparent, and FHD looks soft on 4K compare to 4K native  (on MBPR the difference is not that great, since 15" is really small)
 
 

I am sure a BMPCC guide would be great! Since it need more complex workflow than standard DSLR

The wireless video streaming/follow focus during recording to your tablet/phone is a great feature if you place the camera in tight/cornered place, don't think any other camera have this feature.

So 43 rumor finally post it!
