  2. Another year another christmas short: I am looking for additional cheap ways to light the set: So far i am using a blue light for the background and little ballon lights (leds to be oput into a ballon (warm white) and small fairy lights (also warm white). Maybe you have an idea? Lego lights are beautiful but expensive. Maybe someone has experience shooting minitures? Would be happy if you could show it to all the children you know...

    Nikon buys Red?

Not really. They made lenses that went on 8mm cameras. Hardly cinema lenses. 8mm movies were just consumer level cameras. The film version of GoPros or mass market cameras. The optics weren’t anything that was going to make a meaningful imaging difference to the end result. Many of their 35 stills lenses have been adopted and used on cinema cameras and are revered (aside from focusing the wrong way) But Nikon never made their own native “cinema” lenses for motion picture cameras. 8mm cameras don’t count.

    Tips for LOG shooting

I like shooting with my custom LUT burned into V-log on my S5ii. Solves all the problems I had shooting log previously. The lack of being able to do this with Nikon is actually THE primary thing regarding why I am still sitting on the fence flipping to Z6iii.
