Never been a fan of gratuitous violence also don't like high end Hollywood films. I believe a well done film will bring out the viewers emotions while illustrating less gore and or violence. Simply written, less is more. As for movie critics I don't read their rambling...

I write full length scripts on the side. Its a hard nut to crack. I have a script that is currently doing rather well. Admittedly it has a lot of violence in the end. Though its a different kind of violence if you can believe that.
