dreamplayhouse Posted July 31, 2017 Share Posted July 31, 2017 Currently use my Canon SL1 running ML RAW and love the video but, I have these strange red dots. Someone said they might be focus dots? I used MLVFS to extract MLV’s into DNG files. There are some options that I check off but nothing seems to help. So.. I’m on a tight budget $500 max for body only. So I’m thinking of picking up a used 7D – will this help with dot issue? – or getting a used GX80/85 – worried I can’t get a nice cinematic image like I can with ML RAW – I would also purchase Film Convert for the GX85 stuff.
