1. This was done couple of years ago. The whole thing was written, filmed and edited in about 3 weeks time so everything was in a rush. Some shots are pretty bad, editing is not really all there and some cheesy dialogue. I was embarrassed to show this to people so I didn't really put it out but I guess bad feed back is better than no feedback so here it is. Any comments are welcome thank you. Filmed on Canon 60D / Sigma 30mm f1.4 / Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 / Tokina 11-16mm f2.8
2. Want to share a trailer for a feature I shot using a 6D, 60D, and a GOPRO 3.
3. very good riding and good filming and editing. check it out!
4. I am using canon 60D.but i am getting noise in daylight i am pretty much worried because my fellows shoot great videos with it and mine is giving this noise in daylight.i am usin 75-300 canon ,18-55 canon. and 50mm canon but noise is more in 50mm and 18-55 ,75-300 gives less of it.i shot samples while using 3 of these lenses and i found that when i screw in the cpl filter noise gets worst.please help me. settings are 200iso,fstop 5,and shutter double to that of frame rate
5. Hello all, I am new here and am looking for some help from experienced videographers. I have experience shooting stills for about 3-4 years now, but this year I have started doing a lot of video work and had surprising success. It started with a friend wanting me to shoot a wedding video for her and now it has turned into an almost every weekend gig. I think that with more practice/learning It could develop into a full time profession that I love. I need help with budgeting money and getting your advice on what equipment I should most intelligently choose to purchase/upgrade. I'll start by telling you what I currently own and I would like input on what my next step should be and why. I will give a budget that I am looking to spend. Currently own: Canon 5D Mark II (With Perfect LCDVF) Canon T1i w/ kit lens (I am going to sell this and put money towards new body) Manfrotto 561BHDV-1 Monopod Canon 50mm 1.4 Canon 50mm 1.8 Rode Videomic Zoom H1 I also have access to use Canon 70-200mm f/ 2.8, and Canon 16-35mm f/ 2.8. Everything else I rent. What I am thinking about purchasing: Canon 60D Canon 7D Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera Panasonic Lumix GH2 (for hack) Panasonic Lumix GH3 What it will be used for: Wedding Highlight Reels Music Videos Short EPK work for Musicians A documentary about my hometown starting next summer What I need from my new upgrade: 60 fps (preferrably @ 1080p) Very sharp IQ (I can get lowlight and DOF out of my 5D Mark II) Easy profile for grading in post (This is what I need most help on, my grading skills) Budget: $1500 I know lighting/location/style have alot to do with it, but which sensor of the 5 listed above gives the most cinematic look? BMPCC? I have been extremely impressed with what I have seen out of the GH series. Keep in mind Lenses and Rigs will be a priority too. I can continue renting lenses if I go for a more expensive body, or I could get a used GH2 and buy good cinema glass. So if it were your decision and you needed a second body used PRIMARILY for video. How would you use your money? Thanks and looking forward to hearing from this community.
6. Hi guys! I wanted to share with you this showreel I recently made for my production company and its site which I recently launched: http://www.tordostudio.com   -   https://www.facebook.com/TordoStudio   https://vimeo.com/70074349     Please tell me what you think of it! Cheers!
7. Hey guys I'm new to the forum. I didn't see a section to introduce myself so I guess I'll just share a video!   A little tl:dr story about me, I started off as an amateur photographer until someone asked me if I could do a video for them. Warning them that I never shot video, I did it anyway while applying my photography knowledge into video. The result is me selling my 40D to get a 60D lol. First one I did was back in August 2012.   The person that asked me is the same one I just finished my recent video for. He goes by Sizzle and is a hip-hop artist.   Gear info: Canon 60D Sigma 30mm 1.4 Canon 50mm 1.8 Flycam Nano Neewer CN-160 on a lightweight monopod   I don't know many editing softwares except Sony Vegas Pro 12. The photographer in me tells me to try to get it right in camera and not rely on Photoshop. Well, in this video you won't see special effects to try to make it fancy lol although I'd like to learn them one day to have in my arsenal.   http://youtu.be/RYTmwl3w_eE   Views are around 31k in his channel, got there in less than a month. This is my third music video. CC welcome. All my videos thus far have been on other music websites (not like MTV or BET or anything lol) so the feedback so far from fans have been great. The only CC I get are from fellow videographers lol.   Also, Like my page if you want :) I try to update it with other video projects I'm doing but also sharing photography/videography stuff/news. I currently have at least four other music videos pending. But with school and all I can't really get to them yet. https://www.facebook.com/MAVPMedia
8. Typically I have been shooting DV on my Panasonic DVX-100B, but since more and more people(potential clients) have asked me to shoot DSLR I figured it might be time to buy something for those times. I'm not looking to break the bank just yet, just a good all around body that I can start getting some great lenses for.   It appears to be coming down to 3 choices: the Canon 60D, Nikon D5200, or the Nikon D7000. If anyone can share their experiences and thoughts on each it would really be helpful. I've practically spent the last week looking at reviews and screen tests, so I just need some opinions to go along with what I've read so far.   So with that in mind I would really appreciate everyones help with this decision. Thanks.     Brandon
9. I mostly film snowboarding and have been considering investing in a dslr of my own as I have been filming with them for a while. I do take some photos but I mostly film 90% of the time. The new 650d looks amazing (with all the new features that I won't mention as I assume you know all about them), however would the 60d or even a 7d be any better for filming? I know they have a few advantages like improved weather sealing, but when it comes to filming what core advantages will the 60d/7d have over the 650d? I hope this doesn't seem a stupid question, I just can't work out where the benefit would be spending the extra money. Cheers
