FoxAdriano got a reaction from John Matthews in Panasonic GH6
I thank you for yopur precious info. Let me to ask another question please, I'd like to understand well because I won't have time to manually adjust everything on my GH6 during my travels away from my home country.
    1) Which is the precise BUTTON you use to lock exposure and AF? Did you configure that button?
    2) Do you think in this way can I have the same results as adjusting everything manually?
    3) Are you satisfied with using the GH6 like this?
    I thank you again.

But I could try simply shoot stills in 3:2 format instead of 4:3, because it is cropped enough from top and bottom to eliminate the mild upper corner vignetting.

Yes, I have ND the SLR Magic Vari ND II.
Unfortunately now I am in bed with a sore throat and fever and I have not been able to do any more tests. What I have already done led me to the consideration that Nisi True Color is slightly sharper than SLR Magic and with no color cast at all. If I have to put it in a nutshell, it is almost impossible to distinguish the clip shot with the VND Nisi filter and without the VND Nisi. I had placed the 2 clips on the editing software, side by side and then I watched them carefully on a 27 "4K monitor.

I reserve the right to do some other tests but I must say that I am satisfied with the VND True Color Nisi filter. Already seeing the clips that don't have a minimum of color cast, I was thrilled. Then I must say that this VND also creates images with excellent definition, almost equal to the clips shot without a filter.

I thank you for your suggestions, but ... I'm sorry, on youtube there is everything and the opposite of everything. There is a lot of sponsorship. I have already done research on youtube and I was very disappointed. I would like some dispassionate advice from those who have experience on ND filters and use a VND with satisfaction.

I thank you for your advice. You are a professional guy and I accept everything you tell me because I don't have your experience. But your words show that you don't use GH6 and I tell you the reason. ;) I live in the land of the sun;) and today I shot at 11 am and there was a strong sun. I have been using a UV filter all the time without ever using an ND filter. I always shot at various apertures and at most with f14. I got great images that I viewed on a large monitor. So I think with the GH6 you can shoot without ND filters, unless you have to study an image and blur the back of the subject.
I repeat I have had GH6 for a few days and I have no experience but I have noticed that I get better results when I overexpose to an aperture and a half. In full sun I get a more vibrant image. If I don't overexpose, then I get a dull and flattened image and then in post I have to work harder to be able to improve it but without success. Why does this happen to me? I thank you again.
