Imao a lot about the NX1 was done good, now I am not quite a big fan of the on/off button and the 16-50mm F2-2.85 is a bit meh in how you zoom in and out and focus by electric wiring. 
But really you have to nitpick on the NX1 and of course the infamous in-camera noise reduction in video kicking into high gears at 2000 ISO. 
NX1 in-camera colours are unparalleled, handles nicely and shoots nice pictures and videos with epic colours.
It will be interesting to see what Panasonic did to the GH5 internally and to see the new Sony line, hopefully Sony learned A LOT about their past humongous mistakes like shitty menus and horrid ergonomics they still have not figured out their A line are HUGE cameras too.

A big "bravo" to Andrew, being the one and only, still mentioning the NX system cameras.
Despite popular belief,
1) the cameras haven't self destruct, yet.
2) There are still new ones (that means, with new warranties that last from 1-2 years since purchase),
3) Samsung still services cameras (at least in Europe that I have positive experiences),
4) are still top overal hybrid cameras, for the reasons Andrew mentions plus 28mgpxls, 15fps, hack/mode scene achieving great things, battery life (anyone using 5-8 batteries for a7 cameras, will appreciate using half on NX, for the same amount of work), you have to grab one to realize the unbelievablr handling, and use one to appreciate the very clean and clear menu system and exceptional ergonomics.
Thank you Andrew for your unbiased opinions. To be fair and honest is becoming more and more rare in the new era of nationalism/financial instability/isolationism/alienationism/e.t.c

Personally, I think the SOOC colors look better than that color grade

Real shame Samsung tossed their cameras to the side like a pair of used shoes, I loved to see the NX2 but the Fuji looks amazing I just wish they upped the video aspect even more.

The color luts are complete, I will now create 2 black and white, and a free lut as well.

Some are soft, others are more stylized. I also tested them with the Nikon D800 files a friend sent me, and they work great!

Here a quick test were you can see something.Of course the light is quite shitty, but the day out was horrible (a lot of rain)...
It's made with my vintage lens m42 Takumar smc 35-50-200 mm.I think that if we want to test possible purple fringe we have to use a newer lens(my takumar has  just purple fringe without the adapter...so..)As you can see the increase of light is really good and the sharpness too, in all of the frame for me(I ve to make some test at work with a grade 1 monitor for really better result).
I've noticed a little flou effect on 50mm takumar at 2.8 f..I've to investigate better because I'm not sure that is the adapter.
All the clips are taken with a tripod in the same position.
I will post the camera setting later, and a wetransfer link with the original files(this are converted in h264 from Premiere cc ...sorry but I've to work again this evening, I hope that this will be useful for someone!
p.s. when I have buied the adapter from Luca I've to tell that I was thinking..."why I've to spend all of this money for a simple piece of metal with a lens ...when I've see the piece I've understood that the construction is really complicated(if Luca want, I can post some detail of the adapter..)

Small update on the lut pack, 
I didnt have much time to finish all of them yet this weekend, and I really want them to all serve a purpose and be used for different scenarios, so I will need another week. Heres a small update on one of them, that is actually one of my favorite ones.

I'm sorry but I'm out for work until tomorrow...I will make some video test on Monday!But I've to say that I've make a little superficial test and I can say that is really sharp..and...for sure we gain something like a stop(more or less)And the construction is really really well done!

I shot it in normal gamma with Eduardo's settings. I just warmed the overall image a bit and use the m41 lut at about 40-50%. Thx

both, I'm practical man, not daydream, what I did is already available today. all other projects take a long time, and Samsung nx1 / 500 needs adapters today. a speed booster adapter and an adapter Aputure are very effective for those who need it and reduce the gap with the competition.

The NX1 generally struggles like mad in conditions like these if you try to fuck around with too fancy colours, I speak from experience although that was before the hack so 80mbps it could be different with twice the bitrate on that for all I know I never fully tested it.
I would suggest these settings, I only use in camera colours these days because they are too damn good not to be used even the normal one is a beast.
Alternatively you can try these
I suggest you avoid Vivid or Gamma C indoor because these are way too contrasty unless you got some serious speedy glass on there

Ttbek Hello, you're right, I also do not want to finish my projects with a white beard, so I have been working on this great project.
Now I can offer two new accessories:
1) lens NXL speed booster,
2) smart adapter.
I do not want to work on the code for communication between the camera and the lens, I have experience with metabones smart adapter, he had a multitude of problems with Sony a7s, it was always in the crash, so I anticipate that it is an experiment already failed in start which will never work well.
I think it's better to work on a separate autofocus independent reporting system that measures the framed object distance, this is possible and we have the technology and economic resources to do so p (the rest will publish some projects).
While waiting I invite you to watch this latest project, very useful for all videomakers.

added: Custom overlay
- start from ( settings> overlay ). It loads your own custom overlay from the root directory of the sdcard ( sdcard/overlay.png ). Once activated the touchscreen will not work, and histogram will be "frozen" until you deactivate it ( reminder: Ev+Ev/Ok to start the menu for nx500/nx1)

note that the preview of the playback will not work, however press "ok" for the video playback to start, and the recorded video with the overlay on top will show.

you can make any overlay you like, as 720x480 transparent PNG  (replace the overlay.png with it)

Now I can control the iris on Canon lens, this is a short test with canon 50mm F8.
The lens with NXL is very sharpness, non used hack, no Dr profile.
Videomakers stay tuned, big news coming soon, it is soon to send her into retirement.

In my opinion, NX1 is a much better experience. Best ergonomics, best battery, heat management, 120fps, no 4K crop (all the rest have some kind of crop, even X1.1), best menu system, Operating System, and all these best in class. If you can find for really cheap (less than 899euros, or less than 1399 including any of the S lenses) and you have some NX lenses already, then it is worth it. I don't see any competitive camera for less than double that price soon. Probably the next Sonies will be better (I am talking about overall quality, not a thing or two per camera), but they will be expensive, and they are not going to be here any time soon (the APS-Cs, I expect the next full frame models to be awesome, if based on the new A99 hardware).

Luca: Don't tease us man, are you declaring victory, progress, or extremely early prototyping code that's been tested with only a handful of lenses?  In my own case I managed to get electronic control of the aperture on a Canon lens today, the 40mm.  IS.... seems to want to run all the time the camera is receiving commands on my lenses (e.g. 28-135) that have it, even when the switch is off on the lens.  Probably the lens passes the switch state to the camera but the camera makes the ultimate decision, is my guess so far.  Progress has been slower than I hoped in part because i was too cheap to buy the logic analyzer.. hard to debug early stages here.  My colleague is working on getting the nano to act as a logic analyzer, probably going to be faster than waiting for one to ship from China.  Anyway, give us the gritty details!  On a side note, this video is super cool:
