  1. What world do you live in? Trump and his league of morons are the reason why the virus was allowed to get a foothold in the U.S. in the first place. Stating that him and his administration have done more to contain to contain the single largest pandemic since the Spanish flu is ridiculous. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2020/03/14/tracking-trumps-false-or-misleading-coronavirus-claims/ The man is a giagantic megalomaniac and swings whichever way serves HIS agenda. The common folk are his cannon fodder.
  2. It might not be so much about equipment... rather what one wears. Eyepatch anyone?
  3. Now now... I was just feel a little restless... no need just jump the gun
  4. First test footage surfaces:
  5. Hard to say, I guess it depends if waiting there gets it the most excited.
  6. Yes those are all possible conbinations MrSMW. But for a moment, let's allow time to slow to a crawl. Good. Now, in that great silence, I'd like to ask that we gently pause for a moment to consider the practice of letting go of any further letters/ number combinations that may seperate us from using the cameras we already own. Although, I guess it's also worth considering if that same camera will still get us some leg when we are hard up? If not, for sure get a bigger one.
  7. Looking across the great ocean of time, yes a camera will arrive with a name that may contain, but is not limited to, an X and an H... and a number 2. Rest assured, it too shall be a box with an opening, that allows light in.
  8. I don't know, for me there is really only one way to play this. We've all seen a thousand shorts about small businesses, barber shops etc. The real value in going forward with this is to set up a narrative that nobody would expect. Something that gets everyone talking about 'that barber shop' and 'your narrative' on it. For example, hire a smoldering out of state call girl who wants a hazy down tempo Brazillian wax. Don't tell the barber... see where things go? Oh and, don't rely on the barber to have the wax.... and be sure to keep a bottle of Old Monk in your camera bag in case the barber balks. I know this could be a little off track from what you and the barber might be thinking, but there is no better way to have your lives catapulted into the spotlight than to forget about the children. Be the light you want to see in the world.

    Mad Mike case

This isn't sad at all. In fact, this is an absolute perfect, and beautify realised, ending to Mad Mike's life. Straight up, then down. Genius! Reminds of this notable quote: 'From a certain point onward there is no longer any turning back. That is the point that must be reached.' - Franz Kafka Sadly his life pales in comparison to another Mad Mike who also recently died: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/03/obituaries/mike-hoare-dies.html Extraordinary lives lived in the most rearkable way. Can you imagine the results if they had only just worked together? There is no room for pity here Emanuel... neither Mike would accept that. Now bring me the head of Paul McCartney on Heather Mill's wooden peg!
  10. That you have suspicion doesn't supersede the larger scientific community. I say we go find out for ourselves. Mouth to mouth with a pangolin.
  11. China has ZERO interest in crippling its economic engine. The virus most probably jumped from Vespertilio (bats) to Pholidota (pangolins) where it was able to mutate to something that could infect humans. End of story. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/10/science/pangolin-coronavirus.html
  12. I found this guy the other day... well done with great examples.
  13. Fuji may be back at the table with some interesting options, but you sure wouldn't want to party with them. If I were Suzuki, I'd consider training my lens on Fuji's senior PR department people. Problem is, the images would be completely flat... unless of course it was after hours and the team was back in fleshpots again.
  14. Of course you realize that the candid nature of this type of street photography doesn't work if one has to ask for permission, right? As far as 'respecting the boundaries' of his subjects, who of us is entitled to determine where a stranger's boundries should be? Could that be disrespectful? You see where this can lead?
  15. It's Japan, and he knows that everyone is to polite/ restrained to do anything. I work like this in many places and rarely have issues. A wink and a smile goes a long way.
  16. That's strange, I always thought that a philistine was a 'real dirty person.'
  17. First class work and approach. Art or die.
  18. Their is no doubting the gains 'whites' have made. But to be fair, a considerable percentage of this wealth (prosperity) was built on the backs of 'others.' And no I'm not 'othering' anyone by using these terms. But as a side note, here is where it gets interesting for me. Let's take India and the British for example. The British always tied up with the Indian Raj (kings) in order to do their looting. Both parties got richer, but the Raj swindled their own people and that's something you won't hear when the anti-colonial finger wagging zelots show up. Some local always sells out somewhere... what does that tell you? I don't see skin colour anymore, I just see agendas. Guns, Germs and Steel is an interesting read on how and why some societies came to rise (and dominate) faster than others. And make no mistake... sadly there are few who would not put others to work if given the opportunity. Just who makes your running shoes? For the record, I'm not a racist, I hate everyone the same
  19. That makes sence, every race has their racists. Problem is that it's only the Western countries where it's somehow a problem.
  20. While I feel that functioning social democracies have to be the light, I also find it amusing that people think racism is something that only white people do to colored people. Ever sit down with an African in India/ Asia? Terrible what they regularly endure. I certainly know what I experienced. As much as I like Joaquin, this feels out of place. But I also find it amusing how unsettled the audience looks... until he emotionally releases them back into their coddled and pampered lives
  21. When I heard that the previous 5 iterations of Trump had either been assassinated or suffered catastrophic logic board failures while at McDonald's, it made me angry. I wanted to know who designed those logic boards? No wonder this version is eyeballin' an Apple facility. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/09/opinion/a-ticket-to-hell.html
