  4. I will! I use the 25mm 0.95 Voightlander without the HCDA with Kowa Inflight and the 17.5mm with GH5. I love the look of those as well. The Aivascope and 16-H are both great pieces of glass. This entire video was shot with Kowa Inflight and 25mm f0.95 Voightlander.
  5. I had 3 and sold one recently for 2k. It's an amazing piece of glass. I got the HCDNA machined to fit the Inflight. The one on the top in picture. Redstan makes a great clamp for it. I shot this with the GH4 a few years back. The Inflight really transforms to the taking lens you use.
  6. Hey Justin, I have a few of those Rapido clamps laying around. I love to try the same thing with Bolex 8/19. How did you hold Yashica in place and have hood cover? What are your rings? Thats a Nikon spacer?
  7. Baby Hypergonar 1.75x in Redstan jacket + MeVis 35mm + Proto DNA. I also do this combo with the 38mm f1.8 Pen F and it's super tight.
  8. Rut Row! I believe this is a rebranded Sankor. I think you joined a different club Sorry to say.
  9. GH5+ Bolex 16/32/1.5x + Voigtländer 40mm f2 + ProtoDNA. Run and gun. Shot 90% wide open at f2 and 10% at f2.8.

  10. GH5+ Bolex 16/32/1.5x + Voigtländer 40mm f2 + ProtoDNA. Run and gun. Shot 90% wide open at f2 and 10% at f2.8. Incredible combo Kees!
  11. Thanks. It seems like the right way to go. The TZ CAM E2G is nice and has a global shutter. I'm really excited about the next version of the ZcamE2 that has a global shutter. I will make the jump! Cheers.
  12. Thanks Chris, I have been rocking the GH2, GH3, GH4 and now the GH5. It is the end of the line for me with the GH line. I really learned allot and I have lots of footage I love. There are a few exciting camera's out and coming out. GH5 with the 10 bit was a big plus over 8 bit. I want something with great color science like the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 but also with a small form factor. The Z CAM E-2 4K looks nice. For me the dream specs would good color science, 10 bit, 120 fps 4k, small form factor, global shutter, Pro Res Raw or HQ with MFT mount. I have invested and built up a collection of vintage glass in MFT so I'm rocking this formate for a while. With all that said, I still think my best footage came off my hacked GH2
  13. My best footage I filmed in North Carolina from 2015-2019. I shot on a GH4 and the GH5 in 4k with the scenery setting. I filmed 1.75x in 16:9 and 4:3 and 1.5x in 16:9 Anamorphic Lens used : 1. Baby Hypergonar 1.75x 2. Bolex 8/19 1.5x anamorphot 3. Bolex 16/32 1.5x anamorphot Taking lens: Voigtlander 40mm f2, Schneider-Kreuznach 50mm f/1.9 Xenon, Olympus Zuiko Pen 38mm f/1.8, Schneider Xenoplan 28mm f2, and a MeVis 35mm f1.6 Variable diopters used: 1. Rectilux 3FF-S 2. Proto DNA 3. Focuser 8 I also used a Tokina +0.4 Achromatic, Fujinon +0.7 and a Narumi +3 diopter for close up shots. If there is a shot you like let me know and I will tell you the combo. Cheers!
  14. I shot an entire video duel focusing with the Bolex 16/32. It's not that bad once you get the hang. I was blind by the end of the day. Vision totally blurred. I use a ProtoDNA variable diopter now with a 40mm on GH5. I would recommend getting a single focus solution because of where and tear on the Bolex.
  15. Thanks for watching and your kind review. I just do what I love. I love the travel and filming nature and then coming back and doing editing, sound design and music. Norway next year.
  16. I wanted to share a run and gun vacation travel film in Costa Rica. I took a Baby Hypergonar 1.75x with Voigtländer 40mm f2 and Bolex 8/19/1.5x with Jupiter 11a f4 135mm. I had a ProtoDNA variable diopter in front of both combos. GH5 scenery setting. Finished in 5k.
  17. I have always wanted to test with Fuijnon MK cine zooms. They look beautiful and are parfocal so you could do a zoom with anamorphic attachment. I have never seen a test yet.
  18. I have the Takumar V2 135mm f2.5 and found the Jupiter 11A to blow it away in sharpness. Plus you have a nice round aperture at every f-stop. Jupiter is f4 but looks so good
  19. I used Leeming Lut Pro and did not have any issues at all. It covers Cine D and HLG All my childhood photos are on Minolta glass. https://www.leeminglutpro.com/
  20. Thanks Julius, that sounds cool about documentary. I'm addicted to finding and creating the moving paintings in nature with anamorphic lens. I'm very old school with my approach to color. I like to get things as close as possible to what I'm seeing. It's really the anamorphic lens, taking lens and filters that are giving me my look. I color with Film Convert to give me the greens, blues and yellows I like. Even then I dial the preset way down. I then use Lumetri to tweak contrast and highlights. With Davinci you have more tools and flexibility but for nature work, I feel the glass takes care of 90% of the final image. for my workflow, it's kinda tedious and not for everyone. I de- stretch each shot in it's native resolution. Some shot's are 8k and some 5k. I then do a first pass color treatment and then export out a Pro Res HQ 8k or 5k .mov file with max bit depth and render. Each clip I export is 20-30 sec's even know I end up using 6-8 secs. I then reimport and edit on a 5k timeline and do additional tweaks if needed. I'm sure working in Davinci with proxies might make more scents but I'm building a library of nature footage and want to go back to clips. The B&H and Minolta glass will create a very nice color pallet.
  21. If you enjoyed my Yellowstone film, you might like this. I filmed this over 1 day in the Grand Tetons National Park.

  23. Hey Tito! Thanks This project was the most challenging and a tuff one to estimate. 2 factors that causes it to take so long was for the first time ever I had an SD card fail. I lost my entire first day of footage. I spent the next three months having data recovery attempt to get it back with no luck. The other factor was most of my long shots had dust and specs because it was super run and gun and I was car camping. I looked like Rambo. Soooo I had to buy and learn Mocha Pro to remove spots from footage. Another month gone. My workflow is bananas also. I keep each shot in its native resolution. This is a mix of 8k, 6k and 5k because I was switching between 1.5x and 1.75x 4:3 and 16:9. I finished on a 5k timeline but I can always go back to each clip which is 30 secs or lonnger. There is around 180 shots in this and another 175 shots I did not use or process. Some are reframed and some are completely different shots that I did not use. I learned many valuable lessons on this shot. Make sure you always have a back lens cap on and use an air bower would have saved me over a month of my time
  24. Thanks! It’s funny, I ordered both the Fotdiox and the K&F, which has a better build but the Fotdiox has a nice and streamline apature ring that you do not hit or gets in the way.
