@Yannick Willox The grade is pretty awful. I've never seen such bad skin tones with the GH5 in all my life.

Strangely enough, the a7 III still pummels the EOS R and Nikon Z7 over at both Amazon and B&H.

It may technically be a 'mention of rolling shutter' but it's not a mention in the sense I meant it in my article - a mention of just how BAD the rolling shutter is on this camera. He just sweeps it under the rug in less than 5 seconds in a 13 minute video and doesn't really criticise it. That's the *whole point* I was making in the article - none of them mentioned the rolling shutter in terms of it being amongst the worst on the market in 2018 and immediately OBVIOUS straight out of the box in 4K.

So whilst @jonpais is calling EOSHD "fake news" and telling me how to run the site, perhaps he should realise one thing. I am a bit disappointed by his remarks. All the squabbling on the forums over the past few months from him and the Sony fanboyism in every subject, treating some threads like his own private inbox for chats and arguments, all leave a bitter taste for me because he's a long-time member. He seems to have gone from productive posting in the early days of the forum about Panasonic, up through being rewarded by being promoted to a mod, back down to being a non-mod due to bad behaviour, and now he's cruising for a bruising or even a ban. I just find that incredibly self destructive.

I see what you did just there. Kai ‘ninja-edited’ his video the moment after you finished watching it - a video uploaded over a month ago, with some half-dozen contemporaneous comments about the awful rolling shutter!

Are we also to believe that Kai added those half-dozen remarks in the comments section of his video just seconds after you hastily skipped through it?

Let's get real, Andrew - do you really expect us to believe that Kai edited his review just because of your stinking blog?

What gives you the divine authority to decide for each and every living human being which shortcomings are the least forgivable anyhow? Your shitty YouTube channel?

Maybe this just happens to me, but every time I buy a camera, it’s obsolete in six months.

Is the card v60? I read somewhere that if the card doesn’t have a v30, v60 or v90 rating, it can’t guarantee sustained read and write speeds. I could be mistaken though.

I discussed this at length about this a few months ago, and came to the same conclusion. Because even with my [insert brand here] ?, which has a lower resolution screen, peaking is easier for me to see.

In their conclusion, Slashcam writes:

The Color Science of the new Nikon Z7 may be tamed or de-digitized by some. Basically, the camera is still very pleasant, similar-looking color impressions possible.

In low light already sets the Z7 impressive behavior to the day, which is likely to be topped by the upcoming Z6. And that brings us to a fundamental "problem":

Although Nikon does so much right on the Z7, the high-resolution sensor makes little sense for users who are primarily filmmakers. The Z6 is likely to be the really exciting model for filmmakers in this regard, as this first quality impression of the Z7 already impressively suggests.

Im thinking about the 16-55.

I can't exaggerate - the 16-55mm f/2.8 is a gorgeous lens.

But it is huge and heavy and it costs a bunch new in the States.

If you can find it used for a good price, I guarantee you won't be disappointed in the optical quality.

I haven't bought the Tamron yet, just seen comparisons and AF tests at various websites, but it looks impressive too.

If build quality is your thing, or if you need those extra millimeters, the Fuji will kill the Tamron for sure.

I'd also like to say sorry to you too, Mattias. I know we've had our differences, but I hope no hard feelings.

We're both pretty opinionated!

The Fuji X-T3 has got a Sony sensor. Well done Sony!

If you're going to go with a universal zoom on a gimbal, I'd choose the a7 III + Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 over the Fuji + 16-55mm f/2.8. The Tamron is $800.00 vs. $1,000.00 for the Fuji, is 100 grams lighter and the a7 III has in-body stabilization.

I just want to say sorry to @Jimmy, @nigelbb and @jhnkng for being an ass. I can't take back what I said, but hope you guys can accept my apology. 

The Sony FE 85mm f/1.8 has lovely contrast, nice rendering of out-of-focus areas and is super small and lightweight, making it an outstanding choice for gimbal work. 

Sony skin tones are so much easier to work with than Panasonic's. I hardly need to grade the clips at all.
