  1. My doubt is not referred to the final quality of the image, but to the moment i am using the camera for work.that means facilities, confortable, confident, quick of use, reliability, something that would let me forget about the tecnological tool in fabour of the creative tool
  2. when i watch xt3 post i want to buy xt3, when i watch gh5 posts i want to buy gh5.. how to get out of this?
  3. i have kind of same impression, but i see professionals that work with xt3
  4. for what you write i reckon you prefer gh5! isn't it?
  5. https://fotodioxpro.com/products/md-fxrf-p
  6. vintage ones yes, someone told me it does, of course those who have adapter. for my minolta rookor there is adaptor
  7. for what i have read 18 55 is a kit lens and it is really good, perhaps one of the best kit kens ever. it has ois and could be very useful for most situation. Then i know lens adpter can be used, surely for vintage ones, perhpas for m43 ones too, but not sure
  8. Anyway, at the end looks like that GH5 and XT3 are the best solution, roughly at the same price range. Both are great machine, one has some nice specs and some cons,, the other has got other nice specs and also some cons;looks like it is difficult to decide!?
  9. Is is a matter of being compact yes, but also and first i would say it is a matter of budget. Body, lenses and recorder the price goes enough up to go beyond any possibilities of consideration. I would not mind considerate such a nice tool, or even the ls300 but the price go to far, almost the double than what i would need for a GH5 or XT3
  10. thanks this is about technical question on how to do it But what about the idea that is laying down on the it?why people call cinematic something whic is far opposite to cinema?
  11. Looking around to buy a nex camera, i come across several video that are presented as "cinematic style" Made with gh5,xt3,bmpcc or whatever their feature is a color that is strongly characterized. I like them and i think i should buy a camera that would allow me to do that. Then i watch a movie, at cinema or tv and the color is totally different. It is the opposite of what is defined cinematic style in slr videos. In this case colo is true color, natural, as well as light and everyhting else So what is the cinematic style?? What is your opinion about? I want to reach the latter style in my video, not the first one...
  12. for what i read it must have an external monitor, an external power supply unit, then you have no autofocus...it can be used for planned situation but much more difficult for quick need and one man band,But the real issue(and also the biggest complication) is..how to get it?
  13. right, but i don t understand, is the h265 that allow me that or is because the 10 bit recording is only in h265?
  14. don't understand when h265 is really needed?
  15. for what i have seen the 18 55 kit lens is really not to bad with its ois. Then i might add a gimbal later to use with my vintage lenses, but in general i use them totally in manual, that means on a tripod. So th stabilization part is no more a big point. Fuji has got aps c which is really interesting, while gh5 produce files that can be edited more easily than those in xt3. Also i like the much better battery life in gh5. Overall xt3 is more tempting to me than gh5. I have the idea that files it produces, without cc, cold be nicer than those produced without cc from gh5
  16. to be in my confortable range of money to invest i think the choice is norrowed down between gh5 and fuji xt3
  17. what is WUSS? No bmpcc for me, first beacuse it is complicated to use with all the addons it needs and last bat not least i don t want wait endllessy before getting it!
  18. i found it at 1200 euro but i need at least to double it to use it. Would have been nice option though is quite far from the possibility of "fast use" that i am looking for You can image i start my search thinkin i would have for a camcorder like panasonic HCX1 or Sony NX80, but little by little i realize that i would not live without the possibility of manipulating image and dof, all this creative part...
  19. yes it was a quick dream..not really suitable for my needs and budget
  20. in my country there are now 2 at 1300, in a second hand magazine. But i fear we need to add at least the same amount to be ready to use it, for lens and recorder. So that go beyond the budget
  21. wow this FS700 seems amazing. I have a couple listed in second hand for 1300 euro. Can you tell me more about this videocamera? First thing i want to know is how it beahve in a not planned situation, is it fast enough the use of it?what about autofocus, stabilization and low light?Another thing crucial is what do i need to buy with it? Of course lenses, i would go for a zomm lens to have it all in one, what lens would you suggest'Also i see it would need an externalrecorder. Which one will be needed? I fear all together the amount will rise enough above 3000 euro.. Most probably for an eng style at my budget gh5/gh5s or xt3/xh1 are the way to go
  22. so what you use most gh5 or ls300? ls300 is really interesting tools. The best in the market as IDEA. Can t tell much about real use, a part the af not so good (as you state) and lack of stabilization
  23. i wasn't consider gh4, definitely old machine, but the statemente about the color depth
