Robert Collins reacted to a post in a topic: Hey YouTube and Facebook - time to stop burying the good stuff with wall-to-wall bullshit

Well, I tell you what: at least YouTube gathers all those worthless videos into one single space we know to keep away from. Why would you want that to change? Where would these videos go to be seen? Because no, they are not going away! I say better to have them all under the YT umbrella and not pollute the rest of the internet. Leave it for the Vimeo’s to channel quality. Honestly I really struggle to see the issue at hand here.

Well that’s what you call a rant! “Idiots”, “crap”, “stupid”...all the YouTubers are uneducated idiots. So what if they are? Why do you have to screams it it in an angry post? So much anger Andrew. Why so much anger? Are things not going in the direction you’d wish they’d go? Feeling like you’re watching the train go by? You are right on many counts and I think things will get much worse before it gets any better, if the end of internet neutrality is indeed what’s in store for us. But so what? What are you going to do about it? Rant on your blog? C’mon man...

UNTITLED BELGIAN FILM NOIR Following an earlier posting about a teaser I shot anamorphic on LA7200, I've now launched a crowdfunding campaign to finance the missing part of the production budget - principal photography to start this coming summer. It's bloody, noir, full of intrigue, and still missing a title. Check it out for yourself on www.bloody-title.com And help make it happen! Thanks for reading, Jo

I'm parting with my beloved LA7200 and all that goes with it: adapter rings, diopters set (+0.5, +1, +2), Cinetactics mattebox, the whole shebang. Everything is in perfect working order, as new. I bought it after reading Andrew's ultimate guide on anamorphic and must say I've been really pleased with it AFTER I managed to get my hands on the +0.5 diopter that is. It now focuses from infinity to about 20cm with a 14mm pancake. Have been using it with my GH2 & following lens combo: 14mm Panasonic pancake, 24mm & 35mm Nikkor. All pics are available on h

2.5K CinemaScope anamorphic raw on the 5D Mark III
Joachim replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
Hi Andrew, First of all, thanks for keeping up the good work on EOSHD, great stuff, very inspiring. Secondly, yeah 5D raw, here's looking at you kid. And then, I was wondering, for all of us LA7200 users, it would be nice to hear what you have to say about the 5D / LA combo in light of recent developments. I have been using the GH2 since full frame was problematic (vignetting) but does ML raw changes any of this?? Cheers, Jo
