  1. I can't like anymore, but I actually laughed out loud. Well done.
  2. I wonder how he feels to be the one who was fooled.
  3. Ed, the issue is that you lied to a guy to get him to own up to lying. Yes, what he has done is worse, but I don't believe that excuses the immorality of coercing him. It was torture in the sense that you pushed him to the point that he would make (what he maintains is) a false confession to stop it.
  4. He would always have an excuse, reasonable or (most probably) not. He already put the defence together with the line that the IPs wouldn't change because someone from within his building was the scammer. Never mind that he would have noticed the PMs enquiring about the sale whenever he logged back in and did nothing to put an end to it. He hasn't even truly confessed yet. Why should we expect that he ever would?
  5. Indeed. Although, it's breathtakingly obvious that ES did do it, so I wouldn't say any doubt is cast on his confession. If anything his maintaining that he's innocent even now shoes how far removed this kid is from normal human reason and emotion. But I don't believe the ends justify the means. We shouldn't be sinking to his level.
  6. It is messed up that you forced ES to confess. That's not justice. And beyond that, he still maintains he didn't do it, so what value does his confession have?
  7. Yeah, he wants the thread deleted so people won't look up Ebrahim Saawadi and see this. He needs his name to be clear so he can commit Western Union fraud in the future. His only other option is to legally change his name.
  8. You don't understand, it was the perfect scam.
  9. Cool, so what films did your grandfather direct?
  10. It was the perfect plan... ...until he forgot that Western Union requires photo ID to collect. So are we supposed to believe that three people used that account, all of them named Ebrahim Saadawi, and one of them was a scammer?
  11. Okay, but what films did your grandfather direct?
  12. That's cool, but what films did your grandfather direct?
  13. You've made? I pointed out a 'typo' by your grandfather.
  14. Still waiting on the feature films your grandfather directed. Or any evidence of his media company's existence.
  15. What feature films did your grandfather direct, Ebrahim?
  16. In April 2014, he got his PhD in radiology about 30 years ago. But by November of that year, he'd earned his PhD 20 years ago.
  17. For a good laugh: Apparently not only did he run a radiology centre with a work force of 300 (!) but he also directed 'feature films that defined a transitional era of Egyptian Cinema'. All this without an online presence for his practice or an IMDB profile! I wonder if the radiologist detail existed before the thread about radioactive lenses?
  18. Notice how Ebrahim says he's just been informed of this thread, but he made the Vimeo video private over 12 hours ago. He didn't think the whole 'the scammer can't be me because he admitted he's not Ebrahim Saadawi!' thing through either. We know the money was collected by someone named Ebrahim Saadawi. This whole situation is a farce. Shows how far a pathological liar will keep digging.
  19. Care to provide any of the evidence of your grandfather's identity or media company that people have been requesting in this thread? You sound exactly like the fucking scammer. Funny how you break your word not to return now that you're freaking out about things getting too hot. You are pathetic, Ebrahim.
  20. Was he hacked by someone with a photo I.D. in his name?
  21. I hope they'll feature the 5 axis IS in the GH5, but I'm not sure. They excluded it from GH4 after introducing IS in the GX7. Then again, they'd be foolish not to include it now that it's a feature of the Sony flagships.
  22. I think it's pretty clear Iñárritu is in some ways trying hard to ape The New World. The ultra wide handheld low angles and decision to shoot in natural light scream Malick.
  23. Global shutter up to 30fps too. It does sound like a great camera, but there's no word on when it will begin shipping. I'm planning on picking one up and monitoring with a SmallHD 502 + Sidefinder for when an EVF is called for.
  24. V-Log is a Panasonic 'brand' - that it has it at all is a clear sign of Panasonic's involvement.
  25. Now is the time to bring back multi-aspect sensors. The 4K crop on Panasonic's current cameras is a real shame. It would be great if they could put out something that downscales from the whole sensor and relegate the current method of 4K capture to the extended tele mode where it belongs.
