  1. January 8th, 1935 - November 17th, 2020. One of the masters of underwater photography and its pioneer. Without him we would have all a different progress in this craft and tools to create our work. Credentials to whom earned them. JFYI https://divingalmanac.com/brooks-ii-ernest/
  2. I guess this initiative has cleared overcome any initial expectations on both ways, kudos to you man! Any filmmaker outside of this deal has no idea what is missing. Only to say the least : ) Salivating for next release!
  3. Doesn't beat the Evo II Pro to my eyes : ) but the best choice is always that one we can use it for its weight under the most restrict flight regulations... correct? ; )
  4. Really? At all? What a pity, I had no idea.
  5. A bit awkward for shooters used to photo camera form factor, I agree but take a look on this convenience for casual shooting considering such outcome even under low light conditions in the middle of a street setup:
  6. No IBIS is a deal breaker for people used to already have it in 2020 for less than 6000 bucks. That electronic ND filter also going along the a7SIII might be the extra plus against the most direct competitors today for growing their E-mount adopters basis indeed. Lack of future sales perspective from their side if you ask me :- )
  7. That's a double challenge indeed : ) Isn't that what they actually try?? ; ) It's not true such attempt is totally useless at all. Without mention, cut is part of the process, post (part of this craft) is not only trying to correct with 10% warp stabilization. That said, imperfection is part of this art. There is a level of tolerance on both ways for sure. Other than that it's just people complaining on web ;- )
  8. I also wonder if this cannot be handled from optimizing the better settings to properly do the job, limiting the lens IS included. No other (action) cam will be able to give you that FF outcome anyway :- )
  9. You can always try to fix it @post...
  10. What other mobile acquisition can give you this?
  11. This is a second other one of my very own fav special set.
  12. Here I am ; ) Russian lenses other than Lomo and Zenit or Mir? https://www.onestopfilms.co.uk/elite-anamorphic/ https://www.thephoblographer.com/2020/04/12/beautiful-and-affordable-7-vintage-soviet-lenses-to-adapt-to-your-camera/ And yet that Takumar beyond Pentax brand ;- ) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takumar Without mention one of my fav lenses ever! Ask one of our friends @Tito Ferradans about ;- )
  13. Yeah, not surprises here, very underrated one indeed. In Portuguese now (sorry folks, @techie you're right!) but quite of a remark -- selfie camera included on 8K (BTW 5 to 8 minutes before overheating in accordance with the reviewer info/tip) and 4K 120fps for a little bargain, that is, for 800 bucks:
  14. Yes, it is, as well, slowmo shots but not if you know where and when to use them, a bit like aerial stuff ;- )
  15. OK funny David, find me then another one supplying 4K 120fps for same price range and form factor... Ah and full frame, s'il vous plait ; ) LOL :- )
  16. ...as well day to night on D-Cinelike against Normal (minute 8:15) colour profiles. Still waiting for HDR for next firmware update. Casual mobile photography will never be the same because this is simply the truly mobile device with acceptable low light outcome:
  17. AFAIK, I think so. Here's another review with parts 2 & 3 to come, the best available out there for now: Seems an improved lens with better chroma aberrations performance as well (minute 13:27).
  18. Still looking for that FF 4K 120fps output and wondering about. Here's a curious comparison test: Your thoughts?
  19. Be cool, if the P6K can handle a whole feature film -- shot in Japan, co-produced by me: Be ready for what that baby can give to you if well handled by you ;- )
  20. You're going pretty safe with them, 4x G7 + happy camper on Blackmagic side as well :- )
  21. Here you have 25p HQ mode, D-CineLike picture profile, same guy:
  22. They would need to add a much more light version lacking major features obviously for devices in the field such as PC tablets with no power enough for the current hardware requirements. I have the top available in 2020 and my hardware simply doesn't run it.

Nice : ) Northern Finland? ; ) That one up there is the capital of Indonesia, Jakarta. For some reason, my post failed to mention it.

Indonesia by night from the new Osmo Pocket 2 @1080p 30fps (not bad at all, no evident flickering issues as far as concerns the portion of footage I've seen, considering their local 50Hz usage from a proper shutter speed setting, obviously... priceless handy little device to have) :
  25. You're right, everything should be a balance and if you use a resource, there's little sense to none repeating it ad nauseam : ) In any case, he knows how to shoot it. Most shooters lack to frame the subject or have no clue how to properly move the camera, without mention cinematography or how to not cross the red line of the device limitations. In the end, you ain't refusing that new release but the inability to handle it and take all the potentiality of it. Let alone camera settings. Here's a fine example as far as settings concerns, posted earlier today here but on minute 14:45 instead now: https://youtu.be/BFYt6PtyDyw?t=885
