I hope you're aware some of your cons list don't really apply anymore, isn't it? When there's a new firmware update to introduce PDAF and you can use a wide angle lens as for instance, correct? : -)

A wider angle lens will fulfill any caveat here: Add now anyone to compare the phone you mentioned to the Apple's and you'll have the syllogism ; -)
