Right on cue the BMC Users are declaring GH4 as "horrible" and "atrocious". I feel like a peace keeper because i love both!

I'm no colorist, but that frame grab looks really nice as is.  I am also impressed with the amount of detail.  You can see the strands of her hair, and if you zoom in, the pattern in her vest.  There is a little bit of noise, but no much.
 
Your music video looks great,  It's nice to see what can be done with a GH4 in the right hands.

I had my GH4 with me Friday night at a concert and shot some semi low light footage. Most shots are C4K scaled to HD with a 2.35:1 crop. A few shots are FHD 60p slowed down. Shot in Cinelike D -5,-5,-5,-5. Graded with FilmConvert. You might see a few strobing lights due to dimmed LED's on stage. It showed up no matter what shutter speed I used. Overall I'm loving it.

I feel like between the BMPCC, GH4, and A7S what else would you need? That's a pretty killer trio to pick from.

After spending a couple of days with the GH4 I can say that it's now going to be my "go-to" camera over Blackmagic. There might be a tad bit more highlight room with ProRes but it's a dip I'm willing to take for better resolution, insane battery life, flip out OLED, and HFR. I have a 128GB card coming in Friday that I will test, but so far Sandisk Extreme 95's are working great, as well as 45's.

The battery is excellent by the way. Shot 179 4K clips today (10-20 seconds) between 11:30 - 15:00, camera was on pretty much all of the time. Still 2/3 full.

Apparently Samys in California is picking up a shipment of GH4's today.

I disagree that BMD has abandonded the indie filmmaker. They're just offering a wider selection. Nowhere have they said that they're giving up on the smaller cams. Firmware updates could be coming, but at the end of the day I would gladly paid $1000 for the pocket cam even if there were guaranteed no firmware updates.

Image is sexy. Price is great. Still going to stick with the GH4 though.

Holy cow. Grades smooth as butter.
