  1. This is my first attempt at making a short film that was based on a true story. This entire film was shot on the GH4 in 4K and V Log. 90% of this film was lit with one single china ball. Please take a moment to watch and share if you'd like!
  2. Hello everyone, This is the opening scene to my new sci fi short film, Twenty Two. This is all I can share for now until the film is screened at a few different festivals. The entire scene was shot using the Cine D settings from the EOSHD GH4 Shooter's Guide. I also used a Metabones Speed Booster, 35mm Nikon legacy lens and an anamorphic adapter. I'm very happy with the look we were able to get here so I'm excited to share! Thanks for watching, Trey
  3. I read recently that Andrew wrote the new 2x Anamorphot from SLR Magic will not require support rails with the 20mm Lumix. However, my question is for the 1.33 times Anamorphot which I own and the 20mm Lumix. I have tried this combo briefly, but it makes me nervous when the 20 starts extending in and out to adjust focus. I get nervous because the 20 is extremely small and plastic and the SLR Anny is large and heavy by comparison. Does anybody have any extensive personal experience with this combination? PLEASE write if you do. Thank you! Trey
  4. Hello, I have two GH4s and an LX100. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of the small icons on the bottom right of my LCD as well as the cursor used to help with critical focus. Does anybody know if this is possible? Trey
  5. Here you go guys. If there's a place to share this, I know it's here at EOSHD.
  6. This is a trailer for my new short film which will be getting it's first screening on July 17th. I shot this entirely on two BMPCCs both with speed boosters. I hope you all like it! Trey
  7. This is indeed a very important subject. AaronChicago it is very encouraging to hear that you have had success with those cards. I'm especially happy to hear that your Sandisk Extremes work on everything the GH4 shoots because I already have a bunch of those cards. Now would you agree that your Transcend cards are the same speed as your Sandisk cards. Or am I missing something? Thank you so much! Trey
  8. I'm with you on that one, Andrew. I would be more impressed if they would just concentrate on developing the products that got our attention in the first place instead of brining out more and more stuff that we have no reason to be confident in. It would be nice if they would start paying attention to the details of their existing products. I love their ideas, but let's see them through. No formatting in camera on the BMPCC? Built in battery on the BMCC? Come on Black Magic! Concentrate on the details! This profession/ craft revolves around details! Without details, we're all just fooling ourselves if we think we're going to get any better at what we're doing.
  9. Great job with the diary, Andrew. I've been keeping up and I can't wait to get the GH4!
  10. Hey everybody, I put together a Christmas lights compilation video set to the theme song of Pan's Labyrinth. The entire video was shot on the Black Magic Pocket Camera along with a 10mm 1.6 Kern Switar and a 75mm 1.8 Olympus. I hope you all like it:) Trey
  11. Hey everybody,   I don't post much in here, but I visit the site every day - always waiting for the latest update for us independent filmmakers:)   Anyways, I am in the process of rigging my BMPCC and I did some research on which SD cards I would need. I found several sites that recommended the SONY SDHC UHS-1, Class 10, 94 mb/s cards. So I bought 2, 32 GB cards from B&H. My BMPCC does not recognize this card. It still says " no sd " on the LCD screen when I turn my camera on.   Can somebody please help me figure out what the problem is?   Thank you so much, everybody!   Trey
  12. Thank you.   I used a GH2 with a Canon FD 50mm f 1.4 and a Kowa 2x Anamorphic adapter attached with a Redstan clamp. The GH2 is hacked with the Driftwood Mysteron Patch - love that hack. It was also extremely foggy which enhanced the drama.   Trey
