Lucas A got a reaction from Lenscamera in The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K unboxed and first impressions - Best indie RAW camera yet?
It's true that for stills, a full frame camera is the way to go for me, every time. I have a cheap old Sony A7 that serves me well. I despise the menus and the form factor is not comfortable, logical or sensible but it does take lovely professional raw stills.
For video, however, I am so happy with m43 and APS-C sized cameras. Better rolling shutter is a BIG factor in why. Cost is another! The horrendous UI of Sony A7 series cameras is another. I still don't have my Pocket 4K but I anticipate it will be one of my best ever camera investments.

You are right, fast glass on APS-C can produce the FF look.
But I have used MFT, APS-C, and full frame cameras to shoot on many different projects. My favorite photos were those taken on full frame, I found myself liking that look a lot.

To all of those people saying they'd prefer a full frame sensor on the BM pocket 4K, surely that's overlooking one of the great advantages of m43/ XL Speedbooster combinations for film making, which is that the smaller sensor leads to improved rolling shutter artefact performance over ALL full frame cameras, which is a hugely important aspect of what I call "good video performance" or creating "a nice image."

Who's to say the won't at some point in the future? and come to think of it why can't they put a FF sensor in the same body and sell it for £5000? The really should get their act together - who wants an M43 sensor camera with dual ISO, ProRes, RAW and Resolve Studio for 1350€ anyway..........?

Well guys, as someone who has it, (and works professionally with cameras) I can tell you I love it! That’s it, it’s a beautiful piece of technology and even though I haven’t had time to shoot something bigger than a few ProRes clips in the evenings before bed I totally adore the images it produce. I’m very excited for my 8sinn cage and T5 holder to arrive next week as I have 2 days off to really get to know the camera!

One day you might realise that a forum is only as good as it's members. It's a two way street.
Can't see where I shouted expletives at YOU.
You have no respect for anyone here Andrew.
Goodbye all, it was fun while it lasted

Sorry, did you take offence to one of my comments? I'm not sure where I was being unprofessional toward you.
