  1. There are a lot of fake SanDisk cards for sale, especially on amazon, so be careful on what you are relying on. There are some youtube videos showing how to spot fakes.
  2. These guys pretend they don't get "paid" by Sony. But they get all the gear they want from them, newly released gear to review, lenses to test/sample, in exchange for positive reviews. They might not be told to write a positive review, but good luck getting more gear if you trash them. Sony knows who to send gear to, because they know these youtubers are desperate to continue to receive gear to review. Sony gear videos get higher views on youtube so its the brand they want to continue to pimp. So yes they might not be "paid" by sony, but by getting all this gear to test and review from sony for free, it saves the reviewers thousands of dollars. Youtubers are the new age used car salesman.
  3. No not firmware. The newly released mk2 versions of these lenses. The 27mm is still loud to focus. The 10-24 has weather sealing now, same optics. It doesn't give me confidence the rest of the lenses (if updated to new versions) will be any better for video.
  4. I am waiting to see what the X-H2 brings. I do like the idea of the X-S10 as a second body/bring everywhere camera, that can be rigged up for professional shoots. And the X-H2 as the work horse. There are just a couple of things that worry me about fuji. -they just updated the 27 2.8 and the 10-24 but didn't improve the quality whatsoever. The 27 mk2 is still loud and clunky when focusing, so they didn't even improve the focus motors. That makes me think when they update the 23, 35 and 85, they will just weather seal them, same optical quality (might be a good thing for some) and still be loud and sluggish when in use. -IBIS and auto focus needs to be rock solid. It is all over the place, every lens acts completely different. It really does make it hard to jump between lenses without having to adjust settings. We shall see what happens.

    Fuji X-S10

I wonder if they will re name the X-H2 to be the X-S1 to line up better with the X-S10 since they share a similar style. X-S1 being the full blown video flagship with full size hdmi, no record limits, 4K 120.

More leaks. It is 4k 30, and 240 FHD.

    Fuji X-S10

This looks like it could be a sweet little camera, possibly a mini X-H1. Rumors point to a deep grip, IBIS, same screen and sensor as X-T4, old battery unfortunately, and priced at $999. If fuji gets aggressive with this thing and gives us 4K60, we could have the budget king. I just wish fuji could get rid of recording limits on their cameras. And with the 10-24 mk2 lens supposedly coming this month, we will see if fuji has fixed all the auto focus and noise issues with their lenses.
  8. I don't think it will be the X-H2. Fuji already made that mistake when releasing the X-T3 right after the X-H1, which pretty much killed X-H1 sales. I think fuji is trying to squeeze out 1 more model with the X-trans 4 sensor. Next year fuji will release the X-H2 with a new sensor, giving the X-T4 enough time to be the flagship.

    Fuji X-T4

There are some rumors that fuji is releasing mkii lenses within the next year. So lets hope these are much more useful for video.

    Fuji X-T4

This covers a good amount. Well done considering he is more of a photographer.

    Fuji X-T4

Fuji's lenses are what frustrate me the most. They have it backwards. Fast expensive primes: loud, slow focus, not weather sealed. Slower primes: weather sealed, faster focus, not as fun to use and look ridiculous with my large filters. Ultrawide zooms: either don't take filters, or aren't weather sealed. The 14mm 2.8 and the 23mm 1.4 both with the manual focus clutch would be an awesome 2 lens setup for video if they were updated. 14mm on a x-t30 with a gimbal, and the X-T4 with 23mm for handheld. My hope is fuji have been quiet about the lens roadmap because they don't want to hurt current lens sales by announcing too far in advance that updated lenses are coming in 2020

    Fuji X-T4

In the comments the mod confirms a number of times it is 240fps at 1080p. Sweet.

    Fuji X-T4

I am hoping the 3 xf lenses that are suppose to be released in 2020 are updated 23 1.4, 35 1.4, 56 1.2. With fuji really advancing in video, they desperately need these to be usable for video.

    Fuji X-T4

Would love to see this. If they remove the D-Pad like they are on every other model, they could certainly fit a larger screen. I also really like how thin the screen is on the X100V.

    Fuji X-T4

The X100V was just released. It has a 4 stop nd filter built in. It seems to not work in video for some reason. But why not add this into the X-T4 and blow everyone away?

    Fuji X-T4

Sounds like this is going to have a fully articulating screen. Fuji is going for the jugular.

    Fuji X-T4

Nothing on the screen yet. That's the next big rumor we are all waiting on. Larger screen like the x-A7 and fully articulating would be game changing.
  18. Does fuji offer a similar feature to clear image zoom? and is that something that could be added in firmware? I find this a very useful feature in sony and panasonic cameras.
  19. I remember looking into this mic when it was released. Forgot about it until i read this thread. A build in audio recorder with a shot gun mic. Might work for ya. https://tascam.com/us/product/dr-10sg/feature
  20. I always wanted the edelkrone, but could never justify the price. I then saw this knockoff on indiegogo (ismartta.com) that was half the price, and actually better thought out . I got mine for 259usd. It is now up to 399. Still cheaper then the edelkrone though. Pretty good reviews on youtube.
  21. The GX85 with the cine d hack is tough to beat as a b cam. Same sensor as g85 as well, so an almost identical look.
  22. The sony fdr-x3000 sounds like it has what your after. Better low light than go pro, image stabilization, very nice picture. Only negatives I see are no screen and you need a case for underwater use. Worth checking out though.

Curious how the black pro most filter would look with either the 30mm or 16mm sigma.

What else do you miss out on with olympus glass on panasonic bodies? Does the ETC mode still work? Or the focus transition mode? I am leaning towards the 12-40 because of the focus clutch.
