I think he/she posts something he/she likes. Footage, the like.

I am done on YT because they flood us with various stuff which can be of any interest from our previous searches, invariably going on circles towards so many different directions and time is so scarce... so I tend to appreciate someone may do it on my behalf TBH :- )

Yes all kidding aside, just posting clips to the others that have shared clips with me and others here. Implicit has been the images from  iPhone log is pleasing.

It would be useful if you wrote why you were sharing each video.  I'm assuming you're watching more videos than you decide to share.

That way, if you post a video that talks about things I know about I can skip it, but if you post one that mentions something new that I don't know about then I can watch.

TBH I'm just looking at you post video after video and thinking "I can just search in YT and see random videos too".

    🙂

It bothers me to be honest, lowers the level of discourse. The standard of media and debate is already at an all-time low generally, which leads to a lot of odd behaviour and bad decision-making on behalf of the public. It's no different with cameras.

If we could raise the intelligence level of our entertainment, we'd all be better off for it.

Sure - agree but that doesn’t come at the expense of me being realistic. People have to make money in any economy. There aren’t an abundance of easily had jobs to pay the bills. If some people do so with a little flash and hyperbole on YT to make income i am okay with it and understand the show. I can watch or not watch. There’s creators more worthy of watching due to good production value and information so I tend to favor them. Now if we’re talking actual news I’d fully agree

Hey @SRV1981, im interested in your posts about 15pro,  but won’t check every video. So if you can just point what interested in each video it’s nice for us to decide wether to watch it.. thanks!

That’s for you to decide not me 😉 forums and threads are opt-in not opt-out 😘

The quality of posts in this thread is not necessarily equivalent to the quatity. Dropping youtube videos without any lovely written expression of soul, heart or mind is kinda wordless and to me worthless for a forum. But maybe that is just because of the shiny new product. Older tech ist dicussed with much more love and passion.

Love it Andrew and agree ! That said, I’m not convinced an Apple Camera would canabili its phone. People who want interchangeable lenses will get both. And those who want the lowlight performance won’t use an iPhone as their a cam. But I think Apple could shakeup the mirrorless industry overnight with a dedicated body.

I zapped through the footage. Looks very nice. Looking forward to watch the whole thing with some snacks and some Radler. Thanks for posting. Presentation sounds also likeable, just like the presenter. Btw, the camping site video with the kids on the playground was nicely and engaging filmed. Like kye has responded to my criticism, footage looks like it can take some grading pretty well. I wished Panny would give us a compact cam with a dual gain one inch sensor and a manual focus clutch for 800 to 900 Euro/Usd. I will try the M10 or LG V60 route some time soon though. cheers

Do you plan on using motion cam ?

(This time ^ entirely shot on the new iPhone 15 Pro in 4K Cinematic Mode but from another YouTuber trying to sell LUTs as above-said, signs of today...)

(...so why not discuss it here if this is part of nowadays too?)

Or we have to only discuss what pleases us? : X

Agreed - I’m consciously ignoring the passive aggressive negativity. It’s so easy - don’t engage in this thread if you’re so superior to those of us who enjoy chatting about this phone for creating video and photo.

that said, I enjoyed this review:

Controlled and properly shot/graded side-by-side Alexa 35 vs iPhone comparison..

It looks great but (spoiler alert!!) it's not as good as the $110K camera package, especially when pointing into the sun..

Amazing what iPhone could do and literally just came here to post this video haha

The footage didn't break-up under an extreme grade.

This was my initial gut instinct when watching. I’m a naive user of NLE software and would be happy with that color grade. When I get the 15 I’ll be sure to check some tutorial videos and give it a go.  The simplest process and workflow will probably be what I go with, whether it’s LUT and Dehancer etc.

to me, the point is you can now create 80-90% of the quality a mirrorless does in most lighting conditions without the cost of equipment and burden of the size of equipment.  Low light and DOF yes that will need some workarounds or acceptance of “good enough” and since I’m personally not being paid and the quality bump of a mirrorless with the cost of size and price - I’ll take the good enough phone at this point.

someone in this forum made that point about 3-6 years ago and I, in my head, rolled my eyes at their words.   Now I’m eating those words but won’t tell you if those words are carnivore or vegan 😉
