  1. Cheers, Hans. I'll give the grubs from your link a try. The price is right!
  2. Does anyone know if the tiny grub screws that hold the projector lens be purchased somewhere, or what their size is?
  3. What other sharp 1.5x single focus options would you recommend in the ~£500 range? Specifics please.
  4. I'm not involved with this, but helping spread the word on a cool sci short about the future of filmmaking being driven by AI, and the questions that raises. Shot on film! Follow it here: http://www.realartists.film/about http://www.realartists.film/support
  5. Best camera menu I've seen hands down, couldn't agree more. They nailed it first time out. Why is this so hard to get right for everyone else? For example I like Olympus cameras, but their menus are a horror show.
  6. A technical person with years of in-depth posted opinions on sensor and optical technology chose their own name as the password for all of their accounts?
  7. 10bit internal, global shutter. If it has those two things I will return to the Lumix ecosystem. If it lacks those, none of the other bells and whistles matter to me.
  8. I watched the whole thing and didn't catch any of them saying that.
  9. Thanks for sharing jcs, that was fun.
  10. bump. Yes please on a summary. I'm reading mention of a high bit rate hack but otherwise can't make heads or tails out of the various threads on the NX1 hack.
  11. I have a camera that shoots at 120fps. When footage is played back at that framerate it looks terrible. Screams "video". Think the big win here is higher dynamic range laser projection, all for that.
  12. I wonder what HDMI_SIZE is?
  13. You've got some goddamn nerve being that disrespectful to a peer. You would never address someone like that in person.
  14. That's awesome. I have an FM and love it, but have only put primes behind it. Thanks for the info. Time to play!
  15. Really nice. How are you focusing during the zoom?
  16. I guess it means not using a print lut on the end with these other two, just curves and grade. I notice if the stack doesn't start with a cineon conversion it gets too crunchy with a print lut on the end.
  17. I haven't seen this show but too much bokeh can be fatiguing. It's a DSLR movement aesthetic. Keep it above F4 people.
  18. Ed, question for you as a visioncolor power user: do you find much use for the _FC or _VIS versions of the stocks, or do you primarily use _CIN, grade then pass that to the output stock? So far I haven't found a workflow where I use the _FC or _VIS luts and was just curious.
  19. This is wonderful....thanks guys.
  20. The sensor tech sounds cool. Footage looks like Digital Bolex on a tiny sensor, with slightly odd color rendition.
  21. Tito, I pretty much agree with everything you said. Now that is too wide. Way too wide.
  22. Just judging by the interviews shot under the Coelux, it has really convincing color temperature. Those people look like they were recorded in sunlight. If it's portable, then it will shake up studio lighting in a big way.
