Cool, I guess there's no one answer to this question. As mentionned above, stretch factor could vary from close focus to infinity, or perhaps some copies simply have a different stretch factor.
Definitely a sharp lens, but fyi to my surprise my Kowa 16-D has produced sharper images than the Isco. Comes with its flaws however.IMO, they have the same sharpness for all these size lens. The difference is the view angle. ISCO can use 100mm without vignetting at infinity on FF camera. 16-D needs 135mm.

IMO, this lens is sharp enough and true 2x at infinity. But it is the least flare lens.

Dose your lens like this lens?

I think the first two are the same actually (although the price differs significantly at B&H, must be a mistake, same type number).
The third one is the new, compact one.

i cant get that bit to budge looking in side it seems to be on a normal thread but some how stuck.interestingly, with my camera zoomed in enough to remove the lens barrel it actually sticks out of my camera lens adapter by around 6mm and the distance from the isco glass to the edge of the lens is 20mm, so yes there is a (safe) gap.
Any tips on how do remove it?

I found this Kowa 16D:
Is this the same as the Sankor 16D, just sold by Kowa?
KOWA 16D is different lens from SANKOR(SINGER?) 16D, smaller.

Looks flare is stronger than moondog lens.

To be safe, I think you can take out front lens then cut lips with saw, not so difficult. I disassembled other new type lens, but I think it is similar.

FF is about 75mm. Other format, just counted as 35mm equivalent FL, max down to 70mm of equivalence.

Is there such thing as a common negative diopter? -0.33 or something like that?
I have -0.25, -0.5, -0.75, -1, -1.25...etc. from optical.
-
For closer shooting, add +0.25~1 diopter at front. SLR's 0.33 &1.33 Diopter set is for the job.

What do you think of the Schneider? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Schneider-Kreuznach-FL-70mm-Super-Cinelux-35mm-Cine-Projector-Lens-/282363288310?hash=item41be29daf6:g:H5wAAOSw3v5YpgDS
A local Cinema seems to get rid of one, seems like it has other focus options than these knobs on other Schneiders
The list is just a projector's lens, not including anamorphic lens.

is the look of the kowa 16H noticeably different from the one of the kowa 16s?
16h/8z/b&h/Elmoscope II are the only 2x lens with its diameter size bigger to its length, except LOMO 35mm. So compared with 16S, shorter in length, bigger diameter, which means wider angle, or less vignettes when uses with the same prime lens.

I think Schneider Cinelux WA 35 is a big lens, even if I never own it. Not suitable to use with focus unit.
-
SLR magic 2x is about twice price as 16H or more. So if not better a little bit, who would buy it?

What is this lens? http://www.ebay.com/itm/272520471090

Many cheapest lens seller claim as LOMO, like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/282323819986
Are they really made by the same manufacturer?

Depends on what you're looking for. I personally would avoid Cinelux, it's almost impossible to focus on the set via the screw. Both Isco and Sankor got great IQ. The Isco is larger i think, has no flares, but you can get it cheaper than the Sankor, which is smaller and got flares. Do some research in the Tito's anamorphic lens collection google documents where you can find pros and cons.
Otherwise, I still use my t3i as a B-cam. It's only problem is that you can not record raw video to the SD card.
Actually, ISCO integrated lens is smaller then Cinelux. There are more other ISCO made big lenses. To say flares, they all have different version of coating. And Cinelux new and old version are different too. But basically they are all belong to quite week as flares.

I am fairly sure everything is still blurry when both set to infinity.
I'd so much prefer that it is just me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it is my understanding that I should first focus the anamorphic lens and then the taking lens. I am by no means good at it. If you know of any tips, please do share.
Dual focus is pain. I think you can try using auto focus taking lens to test anamorphic lens as semi auto focus system to see whether it has problem.
Any experience with Mosty SE 16 mm?

similar to Proskar, Sun. Eiki(16F, same as Senkor) is more recent lens, sharper.
