It is quite a hefty price, but if I can use my vintage Soviet lenses on my NX1, yes baby, worth it for me. 
I have a bunch but I cannot use them because of the crop factor, they are quite soft when you crop.
Originally bought for the Sony A7s which turned out to be utterly junk, only good thing about that camera was the sensitivity, no idea why anyone even likes it or gave it such a good review.
If the smart adapter ever sees light, we can finally use cheaper lenses for NX1, I always wanted a really wide zoom one with 2.8 aperture, but there are none for the Samsung NX1, I have to buy 3 Lenses! Just to get those winder angles than 16mm, ridicules! Even GH4 has a super wide zoom. 
But thanks to Lucabutera, I can invest in more vintage lenses and even if my Samsung NX1 fails one day, I can just buy a much better camera if that hopefully exists in the foreseeable future and still use my lenses! Profit!
Old lenses are really shit with crop factor because they are not as sharp and you always loose that delicious wider range they have, Soviet lenses have really funny distortions which also gets lost when you have a crop. 
But, thanks to Lucabutera, I can enjoy using them now, definitely picking this one up with my Norwegian OIL money.

Luca, I am sorry but I wrote that "I completely understand that price". I meant that it is little pricy FOR ME considering it will works only for NX cameras (as there will be no other NX cameras in future). That is all... I really admire you for your great work.

Today I go in a shopping centre to try others Canon lenses. This is the short video. Today I stop the prototype and I star to build a pre-series NXL adapter.

The best thing is that you will have one ND filter for all lenses that you will use with speedbooster no matter lens diameter. 
It would be great but question is additional price and if there is enough space to add another glass element.
Honestly - 500 bucks quite lot for me but I completely understand that price.

From previous post it seems that crop factor is around x1.1 on NX, am I correct?
Optics comes from Lens turbo (v.I or v.II) or Metabones SB (Ultra os SB I)?

Tnx. The EF mount is a big step forward. The factories of adapters should not only build an adapter for all lenses because not economically convenient. But I am an Italian craftsman, then, considering the price, for obvious reasons, will be more expensive than mass-produced in China, I prefer that, who buys a NXL can use it with all the lenses, this is a great advantage because even if you spend a little more you can use it with any lens. In future I adding electronic controls and smart functions.

Tnx! The NXL speed booster lesn that I built is compatible with Canon, Nikon, m42, exakta, pl and more lenses mount. It's one SB for all lenses!

Updates NXL NX / EF:
Hi, I worked on this adapter for a few consecutive days, the biggest difficulty was finding the right point of distance between the lens and sensor.
A tenth lower and slamming into the sensor, a tenth farther and slammed into the lens.
Find the right setting to infinity focus it seemed impossible, and some moments I was throwing in the towel with canon EF mount to return to Nikon.
All this for 0.05 of a millimeter (Canon EF mount is definitely the final flange focal distance limit).
Now fortunately, the system works perfectly and soon will publish the first tests with Nx1 camera.

I can't imagine using my Nikon mount Samyangs 1.5T Cine lenses with your speedbooster! Finaly great 35mm lens with ultra nice low light performance AND Fullframe like DOF!. The Same for my 85mm. And now I could actually have LESS lenses, because one lens work for two focal distances.

I don't think we should be worried about the electronic part yet. Let the man do his magic  A regular dumb speedbooster with iris control for nikon would be magical at this point. Eventually an electronic adapter will be built on its own and then the two can be fused together later on.

Before selling my NXL adapter, I have to do many tests to be sure that it works best.
As soon as I finish the "pre-series" model in the early days of August, I'll start with pre-orders.

I love the DOF like Full frame! I remember my old Canon 5d mark III... but 4K!!

So I just found out that Magix acquired sony Vegas Pro with the whole Sony Creative Suite, and just announced a new version that will launch in September.
But what they seem to highlight as the newest feature beside a redesign along with 4k and HEVC Hardware Acceleration support, is the native ProRes capabilities and support. So will this be the go to Prores editing software for Windows users ?
They also lowered the price from $600 to $200 and are giving Vegas Pro 14 for free if you purchase the 13 !!

Hi Cojocaru, I'm currently testing another positioning of the lens near to the sensor. that allows me to gain a few millimeters to distance to the camera lens.
The first tests are very encouraging and I hope to have the lens pre-series ready for August.

Thanks in advance if anybody can help me track down the following information.  I need to know the exact dimensions of the 16x9 video frame used by the Sony A7s-II in both 4k and 2k video modes.  All that I'm confident about are the following:
1) full still sensor size measures 35.8mm x 23.9mm
2) full sensor resolution in still mode is 4240 x 2832.
3) 1 and 2 together imply a pixel dimension of approximately 8.44 microns square
4) 4k video resolution is 3840 x 2160.
SO:  does this mean that the rectangle of sensor area used during 4k recording is 32.41mm x 18.23mm? 
Similarly, what would be the as-used sensor dimension when shooting 4k in "full-frame" mode?
