i am in movie mode... there is no 25p output ! you can try and see.... only 50i and 50p .

it would be nice to have some footage with skin from Pany gh4, sony a7s , canon and Arri ... but the same footage , in the same conditions. Is there any such footage ?

i am trying to record a7s Hdmi output in blackmagic HyperDeck Shuttle 2 (latest firmware). ​But when i choose movie mode and 1080 25p output , cant record anything (video led on BM hyper deck is off). When i choose 1080i output in camera, then i can record from A7s. i noticed when i connect my A7s in my samsung led tv , that when i choose 1080p output , tv shows that it accepts 1080 50p ! ​Thats the reason why BM can't see the video from HDMI when o choose 1080p.... but why is this ? ​Why A7s can't output 1080 25p ?

​can you share with us your settings, Profiles etc ? And what is you color workflow (do you use Davinci , LUTs etc ) ?

is there any official LUT from Sony , for A7s and Slog2 - Sgamut picture profile ? If not, which is the closest one to "original" ?

especially in stills !!! More dynamic range , by far .... better low light, by far! And you can put ANY lens you want, even canons!

video quality is superb! Much cleaner than older sony hex's ... Without any moire - aliasing (very little) and the colors are nice! Auto focus is very fast and accurate ... and haw many options for tracking .No other camera haw those settings for that purpose in video. If only it was XAVCs ... ;)

if i want to use canon and nikon lenses.... what is the right adapter ? Can i get for example canon eos focal reducer for my canon lenses, and then a simple adapter from nikon to canon and then the focal reducer ? Which is the most "universal" version ? (so I can use most of my lenses - M42, nikon , canon etc)

Δυσκολα τα Ï€Ïαγματα στην Ελλαδα το καλοκαιÏι φιλε μου... !!! Its tough here in Greece in summer time... for all cameras!

don't expect such a little camera with such big sensor not to have heating problems. Especially in hot shinny days ... I have it, but i didn't tried for so long clips. Here is a little test i did, for moire-aliasing.... very little indeed. see it in HD full screen.

this is true for stills, but here we are talking mostly for video...

I will wait for your shots ! Mostly interested in handheld shots , with camera movement , walking etc. Static shots are easy to stabilize , even with my sony a7.

try it with wide and portrait lens, with camera motion , not static scenes. I would like to see if this problem is random or not. In Blunty video, there is some jello or elastic bend effects too, but is less pronounced... Look here after 5:00 when he walks with the camera , its not clear but its there....

i have seen a lot of videos with em1 and internal IS and if there is any camera movement is UGLY ... see for youself.

sony is almost as good as GH3 ! I test them , and i am really impressed.... Take a look , a small test for aliasing , i can't see any !

Can we have optical stabilization on in movie mode without electronic stabilization?

can i use noise reduction in resolve 10 Lite ? I download the software but NR is off....

are you sure HDMI out is 4.2.2 and 10 bit ?

can you use focus peaking in video while you are recording ? Is there any setting for this (colour, intensity etc) like in sony nex ?
