  1. I will have a play with this on next shoot. Good on you for all the GH4 support. so good.
  2. Hey guys, Hope all is well. Been experimenting with the new 4:3 morph mode on the gh4. I run the feed through to a Marshall 5" external (VLCD51) and has been fine for run and gun for the last year or so. Ever since updating the firmware 2.2 I cannot get the monitor to display. I get a message saying 'Anamorphic (4:3) Enabled" and I cant get rid of it. I have played around with the HDMI out settings on the camera, obviously setting it to downscale to 1080p. The weird part is if i turn off the 'info display' in the HDMI out settings I can get a picture on the monitor but as soon as i hit record it goes black again... Super frustrating as I want to use the new 4:3 on a upcoming job but simply cannot deal without a monitor. Who on here has been using 4:3 mode with a external? please state which ones are working. Also tried to touch base with Marshall re firmware update for the 5" and had no luck. Cheers Rob

  7. Hey guys, New piece shot with GH4 and Isco. Great camera. Worthwhile downloading off vimeo, shot in 4k, edited in 4k and export at 2k. This is one of a series of mini shoots with some local models in AUS. Cheers Rob
  8. My VD- MOD Isco 36 is on its way home to me. Cant even describe the excitement.
  9. Nice one, Andrew does this book discuss export setup from CS6?
  10. Hi there, I am having trouble getting my Cineroid EVF4L to sync up to my GH4. All i can manage to get in any mode is a blank screen of color and a few flickers of colored bars. Does anyone else have this setup on here? Would love to resolve it without buying a new EVF / Monitor. Rob
  11. Hey guys, I have got my hands on my GH4 now and done some early test shoots. Looks great thus far, just a quick question about export in 4k or 2k from Premiere. What is the best way to do so? I obviously want to retain the high data rate that it produces in 4k. When I would export with my GH2 I would use h.264 MP4 and set the data rate to suit the project (40mb -100mb). Looking to get a little more out of the export now. Probably focusing more on 2k because 4k is a little crazy right now for web use. I did some searching and couldn't find much info, so hopefully other uses new to 4k etc can benefit. Thanks, Rob.
  12. Hi guys, I am putting this up purely because there is another morph that I have my eye on. Iscorama 36 Non MC. 52mm Rear. 1.5 x Squeeze. I purchased this lens in 2012 from eBay. Cosmetically it is neat. Over the course of its life it has had the original anamorphic adjustment tabs removed for some reason, hence using it on location or under pressure is a little tricky. Instead of using the normal tabs to adjust the morph on your setup, I have it setup so you use a red-stan rear adaptor combined with small plastic grub screws to lock the anamorphic straight and tight. Glass / Image wise it is beautiful, nice and sharp to the edges. no fungus etc. Here is a piece shot with the lens in question. Pricing would be via PM. Offers via PM also. Thanks Rob.
  13. stunning.. would love the chance to shoot with one
  14. Thanks, yes I use a Glidecam for motion shots.
