Adapting Lenses

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

i can grap a dirt cheap rokinon 35mm 1.5 but its the a mount version.

is there any downside to use an adaptar to mount it on lets say mft, nx or e-mount?

Coming from a 650d, sold everything incl. my kit lenses and I´m not shure which will be my next camera but it will be betwen those mounts.

Thank´s for your suggestions.

It is possible to adapt a mft to E mount using a adapter but mft lenses are not designed to cover full frame or even aps-c so chances are any mft lens will not cover the sensor and will vignette.

Thanks for you reply , thats what a thought.

Anyone testet it yet?

Seems like its smarter to get a EF mount version for future adapting options.

The most versatile mount to get is the Nikon F mount version. Just in case Nikon makes something you want. :P

It does happen! I started out with a GH1, but I'm very glad that from the start I was investing in Nikon F mount lenses, as then it made it completely 100% painless to transition from a GH1 to a D5200 thanks to reviews like Andrew Reid's:

And if I was more into photography, and had the budget, I'd be pouncing on the D750 immediately!
