  1. Has anyone shot an entire feature on this camera yet? How much storage was required with BRAW? Or did you use prores?  I’ve only done small projects so far (couple minutes or less with prores) and i’m wondering how many hard drives i’m going to need for a 90 minute feature.

While there seems to be quite a few complaints about BRAW from heavy forum users, I've now worked on two high profile Ad campaigns that have used BRAW and haven't heard a DP complain about it. At the same time, I've spoken first hand to VFX guys and girls that have said that they are really happy with the new codec.

Here's a few pics of the P4K being used as a B Cam on a recent car ad for those interested.

On my GH5 with the Metabones 0.67XL speedbooster, both the Sigma 18-35, and the Tokina 11-16 vignette a lot on the wide ends.

Dunno how different the BM 4K Pocket would be...

I use the .71 speed booster. I don’t get vignetting.

I assume this has probably been discussed a lot but I am curious what glass you guys are using with the P4K?

I assume there are a lot of Sigma 18-35mm users and native M4/3 lenses attached to the business end of your P4K, but is anyone using cinema lenses or rare vintage lenses, or even some oddball Franken-adapted lenses?

I’d love to see some samples if possible.

    Sigma 18-35 and rokinon lenses.

  5. I’m looking for some suggestions from you guys. I just got a new sigma 18-35 for my pocket 4K and I’m wondering whether I should sell my rokinon lenses (35mm, 14mm, and 85mm) and buy a sigma 50-100. Do any of you guys have any experience with this lens on a MFT camera?

I don't think PK4 will ever have the same look as the original good or bad. Lots of cameras are unique, and not easily reproduced. C100, Sony F3, BMPCC on and on. I am not super impressed with the PK4 footage I have seen yet. Yes it is good, but I still think it is not what most people expected, me included. I have no desire yet to buy one..

    What were you expecting?
