  1. Well, maybe Canon is starting to count on ML as its hidden weapon?
  2. Really, twice as minimum with Gh2 (<180$), only desperately missing focus peaking, even shaky footage could be full of charming... it seems that some qualities of GH2 sensor give something special? I've posted it regarding earlier discussion about lenses in this thread, thinking how mighty strange are these Voigts in hands of masters. So, once more...
  3. Am I wrong with great aesthetic admiration for such unpretentious using of GH2 + Voigt 17.5 f0.95 ("cinematic") combination... even at just 720p? (Need to say that I've found that CV 17.5 is the most usable and produce the most beautiful picture in whole m43 range of lenses, IMHO.)
  4. On words about Nepal, out of topic, but in honor to one of the members of this forum... wonderful achievement, and unbeatable NX1
  5. Made with several grading layer in Assimilate Scratch, trying to match accurate colors and preserve as much as possible midtones and mild roll-of highlights. V-log indeed has pretty nice DR scope.
  6. GH5 Done with several grading layers in Assimilate Scratch, not complicated task. Snapshot in jpg. Could be easy tweak (darken) with gamma settings or little bit of s-curve. Deezid result is nice, for me just with small yellowish tendency.
  7. Btw: between Eisenstein and Tarkovski there's no anything similar in technical side (of course, just marvelous dedication to their art). Tarkovski was greatest opponent to Eisenstein's strategic and universal rule of montage in movies, wholeheartedly advocating and ardently arguing for spontaneous and natural character of moves and shots. Therefore such beautifully realized Tarkovski's uninterupted long-shots, corresponding with his philosophy of natural-time approach and evolvement. Or, as he wrote: Sculpting in time.
  8. Try using Assimilate Scratch. It accepts - for base editing and high-end hard grading - even a GH5 6K video (hevc) files without any transcoding. Its workflow is way more intuitive and delivery-transcoding process (including native prores!) much faster than Resolve and Premiere. Only downside for editing is - just one audio track.
